Ryan and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary by taking a trip to Turks & Caicos!
I took this picture from the plane, the water was amazing.
Turks & Caicos is made up of 40 islands and cays, which 8 are inhabited and of those 2 are privately owned. Turks & Caicos is a British territory, uses US currency and is operated by Canada, they are a mess. The have the lowest crime rate in all of the Caribbean and speak English.
We stayed at The Veranda Resort
It was a beautiful resort and very well taken care of.
We spent the first day just relaxing, talking, and taking in the resort.
The next day we didn't do much but lay on the beach, read, talk, and couldn't take our eyes off the beyond beautiful water.

Our room was in a bungalow on the second floor. It was not their busy season so the property was not crowded, which was really nice.
We spent the first day just relaxing, talking, and taking in the resort.

We swam in the ocean which was nice and warm. The water was so crystal clear it felt like you were in a pool. There were no waves, nothing floating in the water, and the most beautiful turquoise color you could imagine.
We took a kayak out for a little while which was fun.

We enjoyed some live music, drinks, and some good people watching.
