Piercings, volleyball, & birthdays!!!

This girl has been begging to her a second piercing for years but she let one of her first holes close.  Oh joy!  So Sunday we finally agree to let her get it so off to Claire's we went.  She didn't even blink when they did them, not that I am surprised she is super tough!

This is one happy girl!!!

Now it was Kendall turn except she wanted her cartilage pierced.  I didn't feel comfortable taking her just anywhere so I did some research and found a tattoo/piercing place that had amazing reviews.  So off we went!  When we got there I didn't have her birth certificate and ID for her so we had to go back home grab the appropriate paperwork and finally we were ready!  The piercing lady was amazing, Kendall didn't even feel a thing.  It is so crazy!

Sunday afternoons are perfect for naps and girl talk.

Kendall takes the bus most mornings to school but she had to go in early so we grabbed some coffee and sat in the INSANE school traffic to the high school.  It is less than 10 miles from door to door but takes about an hour with traffic.

We did to see the beautiful sunrise!

And then this happened....

He has wanted to put four TV's outside for awhile now and we finally pulled the plug.

Wednesday, Taylor had her first volleyball game!

They won in two sets!

They celebrated with eating ice cream out of the carton because we are classy like that.

If you need to find Ryan anytime in the next four month you can find him here.

just a normal Facetime with these two!

Saturday was Ryan's BIRTHDAY!!
All he wanted to do for his birthday is hang at the house and watch football!  His birthday falls on opening weekend for college football every year and he thinks it is the BEST day of the year!

The star of the presents was this light up (if you know Ryan he loves anything that lights up) portable fan.

He requested Kristina's brownies for his cake, Taylor and I tried out best to duplicate them and they were close but not as good as hers.

The rest of the day we just chilled and watched the Baylor game.
Happy 39th birthday Ry-Ry we love you lots!

First full week!

Sunday selfie!  Our church has met in a local elementary school for over 10 years and the new Church finally opened!  It is so nice!

Taylor had school tryouts Monday and Tuesday and found out today that she made it!!
Taking a cruise to visit all their neighbor "friends" (the animals).

This was the first FULL week of school for both of them.  So far so good, just getting use to two different schedules and back in the routine of homework, practice, and so on.

The high school varsity game was on Thursday this week.  Each week they have a theme and all the students dress up for school and the game, it is so fun!
Blast off Belton!

The freshman had a scrimmage before the game so we got to watch Brayden, also.

Friday, Ann and I went for an almost 7 mile hike along Barton Creek.

Friday, we had Taylor and her friends over

Saturday means one thing this time of year and that is FOOTBALL.
Which also means food and friends!

Ryan talking football with all the guys

This girl and her hair!  She has TONS and TONS of hair and it is just out of control!

End of summer-1st day of school!

End of summer party!
Gralyn and Taylor planned an end of summer party at her house.  They gave each girl a responsibility and almost did the entire thing by themselves!

They had a great time swimming, doing the slip and slide (didn't get any pictures of it), hanging out, and eating.

Wednesday, the girls and I did some last minute back to school shopping and made a trip to HEB.
Taylor needed a new lunch box (she lost her one from last year) and this is what she picked out.
Not quite sure her thinking but it was $8 and she likes it so done!

Ryan was out of town so we all cuddled up in my bed and watched a movie.

First day of HIGH SCHOOL and 8th grade!!

I took Ella, Breanna, and Kendall
They were so nervous and so excited, it was so cute!

Then it was time for the Moms to celebrate!!!!

Massages were first!

Followed by brunch

complete with a Bloody Mary

and mimosa bar!!!

First two days were a success, high school was a little overwhelming and WAY bigger than she expected but over all it was good.

Friday, Kendall had some friends over and they celebrated Charlie's birthday!

Monday started on the lake, no better way!

Brayden, Kendall, Ella, and Charlie

Did alittle wake surfing

That afternoon Taylor had one last lesson with Coach Jay before club try outs.
It didn't go great, she just wasn't playing like she had been all summer.  Coach Jay kept asking her what was going on and she finally said "I am nervous and sad that my Mom isn't going to be here for tryouts".  He told me after wards and my heart broke in a million pieces, I was suppose to leave for my convention in Florida on Wednesday.  That night I couldn't sleep, I know what I needed to do so about 2AM I called and canceled my flight and hotel.

Tuesday, we drove and meet Grams for lunch.
These two at lunch were on a roll!
Letting Grams know all the things that I do that are SO annoying.
So that was fun, not!

Then we did some school shopping.

Love these two so much

This is one special lady, we are all so blessed by her.

The BIG DAY---club try outs day 1

This is all the girls trying out for 14s- there were a TON!
Tryouts were from 5-9 and it is run like a well oiled machine, the girls are shuffled from station to station and moved from court to court.

Kendall was invited to a Back to School boat party with a bunch of friends.

Saturday was day 2 of tryouts.
It was a super nerve wracking 4 and half hours till they posted the teams.
She had set a goal of making Cedar Park and that is what she got!
She was ecstatic and we were so proud of all her hardwork that she has put in to improve her skills this summer.
