Belize Day 3

Day 3 we didn't have any real plans but to explore the island, chill and relax!

We threw our swimsuits and jump in the golf cart to start exploring!

These guys were all over our resort

The first night Ryan and I stopped at the this house and had a drink on the way back to the resort.  It was a restaurant/bar palapa in the back yard that is beautiful.  When we were there we got to chat with the owners who were Americans who moved to Belize a year ago and built this house and restaurant.  They told us they were on House Hunters International, I love that show.  So we stopped by to snap a picture.

The name of the restaurant is called Stella's

We rode all the way into town and looked around.

We stopped for lunch at The Coconut Cafe, which we found out is also owned by Americans who moved to Belize and opened this restaurant.

This was our view from the table.

It was yummy!

Look at this cute colorful park we saw!

Next stop was The Palapa Bar

They had inner tubes tied up in the ocean to hang out in.

Robbie and Celise chilling.

The shot stick!

We ended up staying here most of the day relaxing and chatting away.

We marked our spot, Ketchwater's

On the way back to the resort we stopped and had dinner and there was Chicken Shit Bingo going on right outside.  It is the craziest thing, they put a chicken down and wait for it to poop on a number and that is the winner!

Belize Day 2

The sun rises around 5:30 which apparently means so do I.  So I made some coffee and did a little work with this beautiful view.

Today we scheduled a catamaran trip with snorkeling and swimming with sharks!!!!

We didn't pick up a water proof camera which as a massive mistake.  It was the most amazing snorkeling we have ever done.  We saw all kinds of fish, a sting ray, and an eel.  It is incredible!

Next, we drove to another location and the captain starting throwing fish in the water and all of a sudden there were a ton of nerf sharks swarming the back of the boat.  It was the craziest thing I have ever seen.

Ryan jumped right in and swam up!

There were a bunch of sting rays swimming around as well, scary!  One of them was HUGE!  Like 6 feet wide.  Thank goodness he stayed on the floor but he was scary for sure.

I did jump in but didn't swim in the middle of them like Ryan and others did.  It was exhilarating and a memorable experience for sure!

Last stop was Caye Caulker.  Another island of Belize.  It is only 5 miles long and less than one mile wide.  It was super  laid back and chill.

The water is just incredible, so many different shades of blue, crystal clear, warm but super salty.

Cruising!

First stop on Caye Caulker was this super cute bar to grab a drink.  It was hot and Celise and I couldn't resist the swings.

We had lunch The Lazy Lizard, which is located on the tip of the island.  The guys played bags with some locals and Celise and I chilled in the water.

Sailing home

A wonderful day exploring together and creating new memories!

When we got back to the resort we saw a water trampoline.  So of course we had to play on it!

That evening we had dinner at a resort close to ours.  We just walked down the beach in our swimsuits and coverups!  Gotta love the beach!

Taylor's Colorado Trip

Taylor was invited to go to Copper Mountain with Gralyn while we were in Belize.  She left the day before us and came home the day after.  To say she had an amazing time is an under statement.

Here are a few pictures that we got

The weather was in the 70's

It started to rain one day when they were hiking so they had a picnic under the trees.

They went white water rafting.  She loved it!

They did lots of hiking, biking, shopping, and relaxing!

Belize Day 1

Tuesday we boarded the plane super early.  We got seated in first class!  Next thing we know Johnny Manziel was boarding the plane.

Someone was excited he was seated right behind us!

Welcome to Belize!

One more plane ride to Ambergris Caye, an island off Belize.

This was our ride

It was only a 14 minute trip and it was beautiful!

Next up was a boat ride to the resort.  No fear they greeted us with local beer!

YAY!  We are finally here!

I mean look at the water

This will work

We stayed at Coco Beach Resort, we found out that it is off season for them.  So the resort and island was not crowded at all.  It was awesome!

While they got our room ready we had a cool beverage

The view from our balcony

Celise and I before dinner.

Golf carts are the main source of transportation on the island.  We rented one for the week to explore.

Rain is a rooftop restaurant that we heard great things about.

Grouper was delicious!

They had these amazing color changing wine buckets and stools.

We got to watch the sunset!
