Another birthday celebration

 Kendall and Brooklyn had planned a joint birthday party earlier in the month but it got rescheduled the first time due to football playfoffs and then again a few weeks later because it snowed and we couldn't get downtown so FINALLY it all worked out!

We rented a limo bus to take them all to the restaurant and had everyone meet at the park.

It's Christmas!!!

We had to wake the kids up in the morning (teenagers) around 10 to get the day going.

After opening presents, a big breakfast, and some serious clean up it was time to hit the slopes one last time!

I love being the last one down the hill,  I love watching everyone have a blast going down, watching them fall, watching them laugh, sing, dance and I love just taking it all in.  The peace of the mountains is just good for the soul.

Saturday we were up and on the road home.

Neal, Carina, and Izzy stayed an extra day so we could see them.

We stopped and picked up diner on the way home and then they came over to visit for awhile.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve the elves got us the cutest and warmest monogrammed house shoes

It was going to a cold one

but we bundled up

The fresh snow on the trees were beautiful.

The view from the top is seriously breathtaking especially on clear days and you can see for miles.

We had to do a make shift dinner since the weather delayed our grocery store order for two days and the stores were closed for Christmas Eve.  Cocktails made it better.

We celebrated Kendall and Greg's birthday as well.

Then it was full on game time

Then we tucked all the kids in so Santa could get to work.

It was an absolute beautiful day.

We made our way to the top

We came in early after skiing hard for a few hours to warm up and eat lunch a big storm was moving in.

Alittle while later the girls decided they wanted to go for a few more runs.

It had started to snow so they threw on their Comfys and went out.

Meanwhile,  I was staying warm by the fire

After showers and dinner it was movie time!

Thursday there was a huge snow storm and the high was 7 with a windchill of -11 so we all took the day off from the slopes.  We watched movies, played games, and just hang around and did a bunch of nothing.

That morning the elves brought everyone personalized t-shirts and hats so we did a photo shoot, also becasue the Rangel's were leaving in the morning to head home.
