Where did January go?!?!

Getting a lesson in, this girl is working so hard on improving her skills.

 

We got our fence redo and I LOVE IT!  I guess being an adult means getting excited about fences now.

The dog is really something else, the love is mutual between these two. 

After family dinner one night these four keep us laughing, rolling our eyes, and saying lots of prayers.

I went to Ryan's house to sign all the papers for the Corpus Christi house.

I love his office, it is such a vibe!

Saturday morning we hit the road with the Ketch's to check out some property on Lake Limestone.  Celise is always prepared with the champs and I am here for it.

We loved it and it was so pretty!

Putting an offer in, fingers crossed this is the future compound of the Ketchwaters!

We stopped to grab some lunch on the way home and started planning out the dock and party barn.

Taylor loves fire or should I say bonfires so naturally Ryan got a firepit.

Taylor started not feeling great on Thursday evening.  She stayed home from school and we snuggled and watched Netflix.

Sunday, Kendall and I went to the movies for the first time in over two years. 

This one stayed in this bed till Tuesday evening.  Poor girl slept all most all day everyday.  We took her to the doctor and she got tested for everything and it all came back negative. Said it was just a virus.

Thankful Wednesday she was feeling better and went back to school.

New roof and being sick...

We got some roof damage from past storms and what not and they started on the new one today and it looked like a battle zone and sounded like one also!

I will say this company did an amazing job cleaning up and finished the entire thing is two and half days. Not sure I could have listened to all the hammering and noise for much longer all day long!

Friday night we went out with the Buchanan's.

This place was delicious!

 

and had the coolest bathroom!

We went to some dive bar across the street for a drink after.

Then I spent the next three days sleeping and feeling awful in the guest bedroom.

I did go to the doc-in-the-box and get a shot and some meds which helped.

This one kept me company!

Taylor's Sweet 16!!

We started the day by opening presents!

Then we went for her driving test, she passed.  Funny story, her instructor asked if she had ever parallel parked before and was a student at their driving school.  She said "no sir" and he goes well you might want to avoid parallel parking.  I was crying laughing when she told me this.  She passed with flying colors!

Grams and John came in for the day.  We hadn't seen them for Christmas so we celebrated both.

Mimi and Poppy came over to give her gift as well.

Then we all got ready for her party!!

Ryan and I left a bit early "to get the space ready" but really it was to sign the papers for her car.

We parked it where she couldn't see it when they pulled in.

When she say the big red bow she said "you should have done this before I had my makeup on".

Sweet girl was so surprised and so happy.

Once everyone was there we all boarded The Commodore for a Casino Night party!

Everyone ate first (BBQ upstairs) and then went down to play.

We had one table of roulette

and one Black Jack table.

Everyone started with the same amount and then at the end of the night the person with the most $ got a gift card and everyone else turned their money for raffle tickets for another gift card.

Some of the girls spent the night and she requested birthday donuts for breakfast.

Monday morning we went and got her driver license, she is offical!

Hello 2022

Hello 2022!

Marley has become a huge fan of the fireplace this winter.  She jumps up and takes a nap all the time.

Taylor got in another court lesson.  So proud of this girl and her perserverence during this season.

 

The kids decided the other day that they wanted a Wii, we had one years ago and they never played it so we got rid of it.  So naturally now they want one again.  We found one on the resale site for the neighborhood so they went and picked it up.  I have to say it has been really fun watching and listening to them laugh and yell at each other while playing.

We got a few games of Sequence in one night.

Back to school!  The girls walked downstairs is almost identical outfits so we had to doucment!

Even Ryan is getting in on the Wii action.

Friday evening we celebrated Lindsay's birthday at the steakhouse.
