Wrapping up Febuary and NCA!!

Saturday night with the crazy kids
Dani, Ava, Cici, Sophie, and Tay

Sunday, Kendall has CA pics

That evening a group of her friends went to teen night at Wild West

Tuesday, I felt awful and spent the entire morning in bed.  Right before lunch time I got a call from Taylor that she felt bad so we spent the rest of the day together laying in bed and watching movies.

Ryan was out of town hunting and Taylor and I had a little plan up our sleeves!!

We spent all afternoon/evening removing everything from her bathroom, taping it off, and painting!!  I have not painted anything in years and it is A LOT of work!!  My shoulders and arms were on fire!

We made a few trips to Home Depot for random supplies but we did a good job, learned a few lessons, but got the job done!  I will show the finished product later, we ordered a new light fixture and waiting for some random things to finish the space.

We grab some Pho- our favorite!

Sunday we hosted Taylor's NCL meeting at our house.

Kendall and her CA team have had tons of extra practices- like 4 hours long 4 times a week- getting ready for NCA this weekend.   Wednesday they did a show off, Mimi and Poppy have not had a chance to watch her so this was perfect.

The Buchanan's came

The picture on the left popped up in my Facebook memories today so when we got home I had to have the girls recreate it!

Lauren had knee surgery so Breanna and Kendall took her some goodies, cards, balloons to cheer her up!

Friday Kendall and I hit the road to Dallas for NCA
She is great company on the road

Her stunt group has worked so hard preparing for NCA, they set a goal of 50 hits, they went in early before practice as much as they could all get there.  They met their goal so the moms all got together and gave them matching Kendra Scott necklaces.

Jewel Cats

The hit ZERO and did their most amazing performance this season!!!

After their competition Kendall and I met a bunch of her friends that came up to with Ella to celebrate her birthday in Dallas at the mall for some shopping.

Anna, Ella, Ava, Breanna, Malia, Brooke, Kendall, and Brooklyn

Sunday they came to watch her perform!
They hit zero again!!
They placed 5th out of 23 teams, not the outcome they hoped for super proud of them.

Valentine's Day

Sunday we were back at the courts of day 2 of the tournament.

Claire's team was playing a few courts down so these two got to hang for a bit.

2nd place for 14 Cedar Park

That evening we had to do our Valentine's Day treats for NCL!

Taylor loves her a good ole cowboy hat!  You never know when she will walk around the corner, find her in bed, or dancing around with one on.

Valentine's Day
The set up is alittle extra this year thanks to Ryan.  A lady in his office was making these baskets so he got one of each for the girls, along with flowers, chocolates, and a cake!

I did the decor and breakfast!

That afternoon Kendall asked me to go get 25 red helium balloons for Brayden's valentines day present.  Let's just say I looked like the old man from Up, it was a windy day and trying to shove 25 balloons in the back of the car without any of them popping is no easy task.

I picked her up after school so set up his present before he got home from baseball.  It was so cute, she printed a bunch of pictures of them and taped one to each balloon.

Roadies for us in the Uber

Dinner with the Ausley's, Gillespey's, Buchholz's, Lackey's, and Rangels

Then we headed to Esther's Follies and then down Sixth Street for a drink.

Saturday we were up early for a volleyball tournament.
Taylor, Gralyn, and Danielle being goofy waiting for their game to start.

Kendall didn't have cheer till later in the day so she got to come and watch one of her matches.

Hello Febuary!

Taylor went on a run with me and killed me for the first half or so and then died!

Tuesday evening we went to dinner with The Lackey's, Ausley's, and Arrieta's to say good-bye and good luck to Jake for baseball season.

Love these girls!

To say this dinner was fun and full of laughs is an understandment!
Some of the best, kindness, most generous people I have ever met.

Another day, another volleyball practice.
Taylor has been taking privates with Coach Jay for a while now and he is the 14 Helix coach.  He reached out a few weeks back and asked if she would be available to start coming to their practice on Tuesdays.  She of course jumped on the opportunity to get more time on the court, so we are now driving to practice at least three or four time a week.

Friday I picked K up after school and took her to the doctor.  She has not been feeling well and there were all kinds of things going around.

Just some random pic of Taylor extraordinary large mouth!

Saturday was a volleyball tournament.
They were running over an hour behind and the refs were AWFUL!
The girls played great!

We had over a two hour wait time between games and I couldn't take the whistles and balls anymore so we took a break and chilled in the car for a bit.
