Baylor Orienation & Line Camp

Sunday, Kendall and I headed to Waco for Freshman Orienation that starts on Monday.

I booked our stay at this adorable little VRBO, figured it would be more comfortable than a hotel.

It is two houses that face each other and the middle area is a shared space, filled with tables, chairs, swings, and a firepit.

It was HOT with all the walking around and man campus has changed but looks amazing.

Day Two!

For sure a full circle moment being here with Kendall doing orienation when I feel like I just graduated myself.

Tuesday afternoon we checked Kendall and Kate into Line Camp and said good bye.

Kendall facetimed us to show us her Baylor line jersey

She came home exhausted, a bit grumpy but after a nap and a shower she said she met some really nice people and had a good time.

A good 4 hour nap does wonders!

Summer Fun

Sometimes I love social media becasue I get pics that I probably wouldn't see other wise.

Taylor and her girlfriends went to dinner downtown.

The same for TikTok, they see others doing fun silly experiments and then naturally have to try them.

This one was to be blindfolded and then try and pur water into a cup but you have to hold it head heighth or higher.  Let's just say by counter good a good clean and the cup was dry!

The kids were eatting grapes and next thing I know they had turned it into a contest of who could fit the most in the mouth, I might have been ready to do the heimlich as any moment but it was hilarious!

 

Greyson was the winner with something like 35 grapes!!

Date night for these two

Every single time I go to wake Kendall up in the morning these two are butt to butt.

Friday night Ryan and I had our own little date night

Saturday we took the Brouillette's and the Swartwood's out on the lake.

We had the best time, as always with them.

Soaking up all the time, memories, and good times we can with friends.

More lake days & Father's Day!

 Marley and I hit the road for a few days at the lake.

She is a total pain in the butt in the car (even drugged) but today she found a comfy spot and just looked out the window and chilled.

We finally got stairs on the dock!!!

Saturday, Ryan came up and bought the new ponton boat.

We were all cleaning it up when Taylor smashed a bug on her face and it got all over her.

Kendall being such a great big sister helped her take her shoes off before she jumped in the lake with her to clean up.  

Celeste got Marley her own life jacket and shockingly she didn't mind wearing it.

We took the boat out and crazy enough it was the first time we have ever actually been on the lake there.

The girls tubed for the first time in a very long time.

They had the best time!

Sunday was Father's Day and nautrally Ryan spent the morning cleaning and doing things around the house.

We spent the rest of the day soaking up the sun and relaxing.
