Busy Weekend!

Friday morning breakfast!  I don't mean for the kids, I mean for me.  I love eggos!  Totally healthy!

Target run for some essentials!

Friday night Kendall had her BFF Ella's birthday party

It was cool so all the girls bought blankets and pillows and watched a movie in the backyard.

Taylor had her friend G over to spend the night and they made a massive fort in the media room and slept in it!

She used every blankets and piece of furniture she could move to make it!

Saturday

Ryan left early to go for a bike ride.  I hung with the girls at the house for a bit and then we went and grab some lunch at Panera Bread.

Then to Target (yes again).  Looking around and these crazies were dying over the bras in the kids section.  

We spent almost 2 hours looking around and playing.  It was nice not be on a time schedule and just chill and have fun with them.

Ryan called and asked if we wanted to meet him at Jester King.  Sure, why not!  So we headed out to Dripping Springs.  It was a beautiful day to spend some time outside and eat some good brick oven pizza.

Kendall had a cheer competition in San Marcos

Weekly Updates!

Taylor had 2 basketball games on Sunday!  They won the first one!

And lost the second one :(  Taylor got fouled and had to shoot free throws.

Monday was my turn to drive car pool on Monday!  These crazy girls are silly and loud but I always enjoy my time with them.  They keep me on my toes!

Taylor has starting going to a club volleyball training on Tuesday's.  She is enjoying it, she loves volleyball!  One of the moms took them to Chick-fil-A after to grab some dinner.  Love these girls!

Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday's are busy evenings for us right now!

Saturday we went to the Baylor/UT basketball game!

Today I was invited to go on a hike with some new friends!

We hiked about 3 miles

Somewhere along the way was this intricate tepee someone had built.  It looked so fun!

And this massive tree was incredible!

The entire hike was beautiful!

It was so great to get outside and get to know these ladies!

Quest Presentation

Taylor has her Quest presentation today!

She choose Tide Pools as her subject and research the food chain/web in them.

She worked hard on her visual aids, tri-fold, and presentation.  We are super proud of her!

She loves to research and do presentations!

Valentine's Day

Friday the girls celebrated Valentine's Day at school.

No, Taylor's glasses aren't real.  She pulled them out of her closet.

Sunday (actual Valentine's Day)

Ryan got the girls and I flowers (love how he shows them how much he loves them and one day how they should be loved by a guy).  Ryan and I got the girls Tyler's shirts.

We had breakfast, opened cards, and had coffee.

Next up was basketball!  Only 6 girls were able to go to the game.  So they played a TON and they also played the best team in their division.  To say these girls played hard is an understatement.  They gave it their all!  I have never seen Taylor play basketball like I did today.  So proud of these girls, they might have lost but they all won in minds and hearts.  Coach was so proud of them, he took them for ice cream afterwards!

Randoms & Catch Up!

Sometimes I dread carpools but I always end up having a great time.  I love listening to their crazy stories, their singing and dancing.

On the way to Taylor's basketball game, Sophie came along to support her friends!

Mimi and Poppy came to watch and cheer.  They lost but played good and had fun!

This was a busy week getting ready for Valentine's Day.

Both girls had to take in boxes for the parties.  I save theirs from last year in hopes they would just use again.

Of course, Taylor said hers needs a little revamping.

We added an extra layer, some legs, and a bow (of course)!

Mimi and Poppy came over for dinner one night and Taylor roped them into helping her with her extravagant Valentine's.  I take all the extra hands I can get.

We got this in the mail, I opened and laid on the counter for Taylor so she could take to her room when she got home from school.  As soon as she saw it she said "MOM!" and just handed it to me.  I didn't even notice, that it had my name on it instead of hers.  Oops

Oh the reason I have hardly any picture of Kendall these days is because she is always out riding her bike, at the park with friends, or at a friends house.  Life is tough!
