Christmas in San Antonio

 The girls and I drove to San Antonio to celebrate Christmas.

Jennifer, Alison, and Avery came in also!

Haley came over and we got to meet Elliott for the first time.

He is the tinyest little squish, I was in love!

So was this one!

Laura and Tucker came over as well.

Grams had planned a fun game for us

Papa came over and Gavin was in town so we got to visit with him also.

We still till the evening and drove home but it is a great day visiting and seeing everyone.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

After stockings Mimi and Poppy came over for breakfast and to open gifts.

We stayed in our PJ's all day and just chilled.

I made a chocolate chip pie, Ryan did steaks, and the girls and I made some fancy sides for dinner.

I apparently didn't take any more pictures the rest of the day, fail!

Christmas Eve

We got back just in time for a big cold front

Christmas Eve we went to Sonny and Carol's and had an early dinner.

My favorite part of Christmas Eve service is Silent Night, cry every time.

Came home and our No Name Elf left the girls their Christmas PJs.

Kendall brought one can of spray snow months ago saying she was going to paint the grass white so she could have a "white Christmas".

She quickly realized one can was not going to go far, so she changed her plans and came up with this...

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house....

 We walked down to Biscuit Love for breakfast and it didn't disappoint.

Then we headed to out

Country Music Hall of Fame

The lyics to "Just a Swingin", a song we listen to a ton growing up.

It was cool seeing all the memorabilia and history.

Then we took off to find this mural and Ryan was such a good sport holding all the coat, purses, and being patience.

700 pictures later and apparently I got the right angle, lighting, smile, etc for them so Ryan and I took a turn.

It's the foot prop for me :) 

That evening we went to The Grand Ole Opry

It was Christmas themed

The girls didn't love it, I thought it was great.

I wish I would have picked a normal evening so they would have enjoyed it more.

Ryan and I went across the street to The Thompson Hotel to have a night cap before heading to bed.

We headed home the next morning.  It was a great trip.

I love spending time with just the four of us.
