Room Make Over!

Kendall has been wanting her room redone for awhile but I didn't have a vision of what I wanted to do.  She picked out new bedding a few months ago and her furniture was still good it just need some jazz.  She had two request a chair and a mirror, easy!

My friend Kristen is a decorator has helped me a TON!  Ryan, Kristen, and I did all of this one day while she was at school.  She wanted to be surprised.

Ryan and I painted wide white stripes on one wall.  We haven't painted together since the girls nurseries.  Once we got started it wasn't bad.

Her chair is grey.  The white stool can be used to do homework on, an extra seat for a friend, drinks, etc.  The one on the end of her bed has a fluffy cushion on the top for an extra seat.

The pictures don't do it justice, it is so pretty in person and fits her personality perfectly- girly!

Her curtains are just pinned together, I need to take them down and sew them but we wanted her to see it all done.

She loves it and so do we!

Easter weekend!

Saturday Grams and John came in town and we went to Lucy's on the Lake for lunch.

It was gorgeous outside!

My sweet girls

Later, we dyed eggs but tried a new way.  Mix shaving cream and food dye and swirl.  Then you bury the eggs in there and let them sit for 10 minutes or so.

This is Kendall's mix- mostly purple of course.

This is Taylor mix.  I didn't get a picture of the eggs after they came out (not sure how).  They looked tied dye-ish.  Prettier than just normal egg coloring.

The Easter Bunny came and left goodies for everyone.

After church we went to the club to have brunch.

Family selfie

Two family pics in one day is a new record!

The grandparents- Poppy, Mimi, Grams, and John

So glad my mom came up

I even got Ryan to take a picture with me.

Later, we went to the Macs for some friend celebrating.  The kids swam in the hot tub, did an egg hunt, and ran around like a bunch of crazies.

It was a great day with family and friends!

Good Friday

The girls didn't have school today so we hung around the house and had a lazy morning.  Then we met our friends the Macs at the movies to Miracles from Heaven!

Snapping some pictures on the way there!  Bonbons all around!

It was an incredible movie.  I might have cried 57 times during it.

Later that evening we celebrated Robbie's birthday!

St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Breakfast at Nanaw's is the best especially when she add green food dye to the pancakes, it's hard to tell in the picture but they were puke green!

After breakfast we headed to the zoo to meet Grams, Aunt Jennifer, Avery and Alison.  When we got them we were surprised by Haley, Aunty Patty, Copper, and Addison!

It was pretty early and most of the animals were out and about which makes it more fun.

We love BEARS!

Group pic!

The Africa exhibit in one of my favorites.  The habitats are big.  I love how the hippos swim right up to the glass and just hang out underwater.

The girls love the giraffes

The original three amigos!

After all the walking we were hungry and hit up Uncle BR's new restaurant B-Daddy's BBQ.  It was super yummy!

Next stop Grams'!

The girls chilled there will I went to a Younique meet up with a bunch of San Antonio presenters.  It was so much fun meeting and spending time with these ladies.  I have never meet most of them but feel like I have know them forever.

Spring Break Day 2

Tuesday I met Jennifer, Avery, and Alison at Natural Bridge Caverns.  We didn't do the caverns but the canopy behind it.  It is awesome!

When we first got there the line for the caverns was really long but there was no line for the canopy!  Sweet!

First up Taylor!

Then Kendall!

The Three Amigos!

Then they got almost an hour on this!  They could go any which direction they wanted, they were all over the place.

After that we headed to Nanaw and Popeye's

Popeye is always good for a ride on the gator

There was water in the creek so what else to do but build a damn

I love that these three are friends and love hanging out with each other.

After a delicious meal and a good shower bed it was!

Waco!

Spring Break is here!!!  My friend Kristen and I decided to take a day trip to Waco (she had never been).

First stop Magnolia!  All of our kids (and us of course!) are fans of Fixer Upper.

The silos!

I was expecting just a store but it is more like a compound.

The outside is lined with all kinds of yummy food trucks and lots of picnic tables to sit at.

A big vegetable garden

I thought this was funny! :)

There is a huge turf area with hula hoops, bats and balls, swings for the kids.  Which was great considering we had to wait in line almost two hours to get into the store.  CRAZY!  But the kids didn't complain since they could run around and play and the weather was beautiful!

I was super impressed with the store, mostly nit-nats but oh well.

Next stop was Viteks for lunch to introduce the Macs to Gut Paks!

They have really expanded the store since I was there.  They have a big covered area outside and this cool RV redone as a table.

Look at this deliciousness!

Then, we went to the stadium so the boys could check it out.  We walked across the bridge, found Ryan and I's brick (I didn't take a picture of it), and saw the RGIII statue.

Last stop was the Bears!  One was sleeping in the den but the other one was out!

Future Bears!

After a quick trip inside the bookstore and a potty break we were back in the car on the way home.  It was a great 1st day of Spring Break.  I love Baylor and its beautiful campus.
