New Year's Eve

Saturday was Brayden's birthday and he had a Casino Night theme party at his house.  They had tables set up and prizes.

Ryan and I went to dinner with Susan & Gene Arant at the steakhouse and then came back to the house to ring in the New Year!!

Christmas in San Antonio

Ryan pick the girls and I up from the airport and we headed straight to Boerne to celebrate Christmas with Nananw and Popeye.  Jennifer and her family met us there so we could all be together.

Nanaw loves Christmas and loves giving gifts.  She always has a big stack of gifts for the girls.

Ryan's coffee mug says " I never asked to be the world's best boss but here I am absolutely crushing it"!!

We spent the night stuffing our faces with amazing food, baking cookies, and watching the girls run around the property and driving the ranger around.  

Then we headed to Mom's house, she had been taking care of Marley for us while we were in Colorado and she was super happy to see us.  She would not let me out of her sight and insisted on sitting on me everywhere.

Mom had surprised everyone and hired a photographer to come over and do some family pictures since we were all there.

We hung out, opened presents, acted liked the wild crazy bunch we are, and ate lunch/dinner before hitting the road to come home!!

One last day in CO

Ryan left early this morning to head back to Austin,  he had to go back and close the books for the end of the month and year.  The girls and I stayed one extra day to ski some more!

We skiied all over the mountain, doing some of their favorite runs and just exploring.  

The weather was gorgeous!

That evening we went to Vail to do some shopping and have dinner.

Not having any use of either of my arms, could not get up to go to the bathroom, or move in fear that I would wake someone up!  Good times!!

Christmas Day!

CHRISTMAS MORNING and Santa came!!!

The girls did their traditonal passing out the presents.

Then it was mayham opening presents

I got Marley socks in my stocking!!!

Then we all got bundled up and went snow mobiling!!!

We were super excited since none of us had ever done this before.

They gave us all a lesson in safety and how to operate it and then took us to a track to practice before taking off on the mountain.

We rode for a while and stop to take some pics and it started snowing and snowing HARD!

Then we rode to the Warming Hut for some hot chocolate and to warm up.

When we were leaving Ryan went off the path and got stuck!

Then we went home and just hung out and starting cooking Christmas dinner.

It was a fabulous Christmas Day!

Christmas Eve

I love skiing, I love watching the girls ski and/or board, I love being out in the open and seeing all the amazing views, and just being free.  I love that the girls love it just as much if not more than me.

Everyday she gets better and more comforatble on the board.

We even saw Santa getting in some runs before making delieveries!

We went all the way to the top of the mountain today, it was beautiful weather and the views were incredible!  Looks like they are about to ski right off the edge!

That evening we all got dressed 

and went to church in Cooper.  It was tiny church and it was packed!

Loved that we still got to do my favorite part of Christmas Eve service, sing Holy Night and light the candles.

After church we headed to the village to watch all the ski instructor come down the mountain with a torch.  It was really cold and we were not properly dresed.

Followed by fireworks

Our "elf"  who has been retired for many years but continues the tradition of leaving matching pj's for the kids on Christmas Eve.

Even Jade and I got in on the fun this year!

We made Christmas Eve dinner, watched a movie, and just enjoyed our time together.
