Fredericksburg with my Yesties!!

Ryan and I were suppose to be in Mexico for a trip I earned with Younique but with Covid and the new CDC rules (have to have a negative test to get back in the US) we just didn't feel comfortable leaving.  So, Stevie, Jenny, and I all meet in Fredericksburg for the night!

First stop was Alstadt Brewery for lunch.  Elisa and her husband meet us there as well!
The brewery was closed for tours but not sure any of us girls really cared.

Then we drove over to Fiesta Winery and did a wine tasting.

We could not have asked for a more beautiful day!
The whole gang!

Then we decided to drive to Luckenbach.
I had never been there before but have heard (and sang) about it for years.
When we pulled in it was NOTHING like I expected.  It literally looks like you are just driving on to someones ranch or land.  It is all fenced it, you park in a field and there are like 5 small building (restrooms, a shop, and the rest is bars and stages).  It was crazy to me.

We grabbed a drink and sat down at a picnic table and listened to good old fashion country live music.

The guys wanted to make a stop at Garrison Brothers, a bourbon distrillery in Hye, Texas.
The property is gorgeous!
I did not partake in the tasting, well I took one sip and said no thanks.

Stevie and Dan had packed a cooler with cheese and meat so we all sat around and snacked and visited.
I am so very thankful for the girls and their friendship.

We headed back to the hotel to clean up and grab some dinner.
We didn't make reservations ahead of time so it was difficult to find a place but we found a great small Mexican food restaurant.  Then we headed to Crossorads Salon and this place was packed and jamming.  The band that night was incredible!

We didn't have any fun!

It was short but so much fun and so great to see everyone in person.

This and that

 Ladies who lunch!
It had been WAY to long since we were able to all get together for lunch but we finally made it work.  We sat for over 2 hours and just chatted away.  I love them and totally enjoy our time together.

We finally tried the new restaurant in our neighbohood.
It was alright, honestly probably won't go back but it was good change of scenery.

This girl and her naps- I can never have all the beds made becasue of her

I was out and about and stopped and got Chick-fil-A for these girls

Taylor didn't have her last period class so we went and ran errands and stop and grabbed some ice cream.

Late night chats with this group is always eye opening and enterataining.
Pretty sure we sat around talking for way over an hour.

Sunday, we all got ready and headed to Tiny Boxwoods for a late lunch.  I have been wanting to try this place forever,  I have had their cookies before and they were amazing.  When we got there the line was long and they told us they close before we could get seated.  I was so disappointted.  It was super cute but on the otherside of their parking lot they had their cookie store!!

So I grabbed a dozen cookies and some other sweet treats so it wasn't a total lost.

We ended up at Chez Zee which is always good.

Came home from running errands and school looked liked this

Somehow we all ended up in Kendall's room during lunch one day and this is what happen...

Taylor had some friends over for school.
Online school can get quite lonely and boring.

Tuesday we celebrated Lindsay's birthday at Lake Austin Spa.
Kristina, me, Julie, Kirsten, and Lindsay

I had to leave after school because it was my day for vollyball car pool but man it felt nice to totally relax for a bit.

Alittle bit of randomness...

This girl and online school go together like oil and water.
She is everywhere, doing anything and everything that she is not suppose to be doing, and making a mess in every room.  BUT I do love her beautiful face when she comes to say hi or give me a hug.

Now...Taylor and sushi go extremely well together!

Breakfast with Marley

I got my first mamogram, I'm officially old.
It was SUPER awkard and had never been in such weird postion and handled like that in my life but it didn't hurt like I had heard.

Date night- geez it was hard to find a place eat without reservations.
We didn't know ahead of time so we didn't make reservations, called a billion places, and stopped by at least 5 restaurants and they were all filled or over an hour wait.  This covid is really cramping out date night style.  We finally found someplace, it wasn't the best food but we still enjoy ourselves.

I had heard about this cookie randomly on Instagram and have been dying to try them.  I found out there were going to be at a farmer market on the way out of town Saturday morning so Taylor and I made a little detour to get them.  They are 1/3 pound EACH and flipping AMAZING!

And we are on the road to San Antonio and this one is asleep, gotta love my travel buddy!

We played some really good teams and played well.

This is my favorite picture.  After a really good play but her team mate or herself she always puts one arm up in the air and I can never get a picture of it but I finally caught it.

Sunday we were back on the court!

We stopped at one of my old time favorite Las Palaspas on the way out to grab a quick bite.

I love our weekends away together!

It SNOWED!!

On Sunday it was predicted to snow but to be honest I had little hopes for it.  It hadn't snowed here in at least 5 or 6 years, at least but around 1 it started snowing.  Like really snowing, not just alittle but alot and it was sticking!

I can't remember how long it snowed but for hours!

It was beautiful!

Happy 15th Birthday!!

Happy 15th birthday Taylor!

Traditional early morning birthday presents.

I ordered these number ballons as something different than Card My Yard or the AlphaLit (like I did for Kendall) and they are awesome!  7 feet tall and you can choose any color and combo you want.

After breakfast and present we headed to the DMV to get her premit!

Then we had lunch at one of our favorites, Flower Child and did some birthday shopping.
Taylor is not easy to shop for and really picky so this was alot easier and lots of fun!

That evening all her friends came over to celebrate.
She requested a dinosaur cookie cake.

The kids sang, danced, hung out, laughed, and made lots of noice!
