See ya September

September 21st first day of in person high school!

Taylor sent me this after morning volleyball practice.

Meanwhile....online school is going swell for this one

Two day of school and these two are twinning!

September 23 Marley turned 11!

So we threw her a birthday party because why the hell not.
She was very interested in her cupcake and candle.

She got a trip to spa for her birthday the next day!

Kendall and I did an early morning Starbucks run before school on Friday.

GAME DAY SELFIE!

One of the moms on the team has a great camera and shares all the pictures after each game, so thankful.

After the win we made it just in time for kick off at for the football game.

Cedar Parks student section had these signs out till they had to take them down.

Saturday, I went out with Kristina and Sam.
Felt really good (and strange) to get dressed up.

We went downtown and had some amazing sushi.

We tried to find some place to have drinks after but it was crazy weird downtown with almost everything closed and literally no one on the streets.

Thankful for self timers and a fun night out.

These two....

Tuesday we played McNeil

Ann and I walked on Wednesday morning and the lake looked like a mirror, so beautiful.

Alittle bit of this and alittle bit of that

Nothing like a little cat nap between classes...

Love my peeps

Taylor tried out for club volleyball last week and found out today that she made 15 Helix.  She worked hard all summer to improve her skills and set a goal to move up a team and I couldn't be more proud of her for making it.  The Buchanan's sent her some cookies to congratulate her.

School with friends is always better!

Went to run some errands and the sunset was beautiful!

When you can't go to the football and have to watch it online

All I asked for is a picture and this is what I get...

Thanks girls

Sunday I had a baby shower for the beautiful Kristen

Can't wait to meet little Miss Ava Rae

Taylor had her first high school volleyball scrimmage, parents were not allowed to go and watch.
Stupid COVID!

Love my walks with Ann each week, t
oday we went on a trail that I had never been on and it was so pretty.

Tuesday, the girls did a service project for NCL

I walked upstairs to say good night to the girls and found this one laying in bed with her shades on.
Don't ask, I have no idea but I am sure she was Snapchatting.

Volleyball picture day!

Friday Taylor had a home game against Cedar Park.

Love that her friends came to cheer them on.
Claire, Kylie, Dani, Taylor, Gralyn, and Julia

Saturday we over to Mimi & Poppy's to visit

Sunday Mom and John came up for the day and we took them out on the lake.

We drove to Hula Hut and had lunch

The girls surfed a little bit, the water was cold.

It was great day.

Hello September!

What other way would September start if we weren't at volleyball

Wednesday was a BIG day for Brayden, he officially committed to play baseball at Baylor!
Kendall took over some balloons and watched in on the zoom called with the coaches.
So excited and happy for him.

Lunch break from virtual school with friends is always better.

I walked upstairs later that evening and found this...
This kid is a sleeping machine!

The best part of having them home is getting random hugs during the day.
Seriously makes my day!

Friday, Kendall had some friends over.

Saturday we took the boat out.
Snapped this crazy kid trying to do who knows what.

THe whole gang

Singing and dancing is her thing when she surfs

Monday was Labor Day
(which meant no school and means another day of fun)
This time it was Taylor and her friends turn to play.

It has been years since I surfed and they talked me into trying.
Let's just say I drank half the lake, got some serious wedgies, and things were not pretty.

And she makes it look so easy!

These two love each other.
