Track & Field Day

Tuesday was Track & Field Day for fourth and fifth grade.  They hold it at the high school which is fun.

Fourth grade was up first.

Taylor's first event was the 100 meter dash, she won her heat!

Her second event was softball throw.  She tied second!

Proud of my girl

Love these girls

Next up was fifth grade.

Kendall's first event was the 100 meter dash.  She came in fourth.

Being photo bombed by her teacher!

The lightening siren went off a few minutes after the 100 meter dash so they had to cancel the rest of the day :(  Some of the kids were not happy but safety first.

After school Kendall played on my snapchat

Taylor went home and swam with G

Memorial Day!

This Memorial Day we didn't go to the JW like the last few years.  The weather is so iffy.  Sunday morning we cleaned Chan's tank.  He is getting so big!  The girls took him outside to roam in the grass, he loved it!

Marley wasn't sure what to think about him.

Then we got ready to go out on the lake with The Horn's, it turned out to be a beautiful day!

I problem have 100 pictures of this bridge but every time we drive past it on the lake I take a picture.  It is just so pretty!

My lake bums

We started with some tubing

Taylor and her sunscreen, goof ball!

We got all the way to the other end of the lake, pulled in a cove to let the kids do some swimming before we grab some dinner and they was a police boat telling everyone that the lake was closing.  WHAT!  We aren't done!  There has been so much rain the last few weeks that they had to open the damn up on both sides of the lake so we packed up and headed back towards the dock.  We were a good 30-45 minutes away.

When we got to the dock, we had to wait because so many boats were trying to get off.  So we tried to kill some time with a little tubing but if you look closely in the picture below those two boats on either side were police chasing us telling us to get off.

We told them that we were just waiting our turn.

So change of dinner plans, we headed to the Oasis to grab some dinner and were blessed with an amazing sunset!

Didn't end up the way we planned but it is still lots of fun!

Roadtrip Surprise!

Our good friend, Leslie, called a few weeks back and asked us if we could come in town (The Woodlands) and surprise Lonnie for his birthday.   We of course couldn't say no.

Loaded up and on the road!

Lonnie was super surprised when we walked in!  Happy Birthday!  The kids who haven't seen each other in over a year picked up right where they left off and were in the pool in a matter of minutes.   Our other friends The Perroni's were there as well.  Jennifer, Leslie, and I all had our first baby in a December 2004!.  Hudson, Mallory, and Kendall all had a their 1st birthday party together.  Love all the kids and their parents!

They invited some of their friends over as well.  At one point there were 17 kids in the pool!

Monday (Memorial Day) the kids all swam and played a game of chicken)

Taylor (10), Morgan (9), Mallory (11), and Kendall (11)

Later, we meet Neal, Carina, and Isabella for lunch.  Next to where we ate lunch was this super cute coffee/cupcake shop called Crave.

Look at these cupcakes!  Don't they look delicious?

Isabella loves to take selfies

Haha!

Afterwards, we went to check out their new house which is Ryan's parents old house.  It was a little weird to be there and it not be their home.   But they have done a great job updating it and making it theirs.

We was a great quick trip to visit with friends and family!

Crazy busy week!

This weeks calendar was jam packed full!

Monday I went to barre and stopped at my new obsession after Tea 2 Go!  It is a tea shop.  They have all different kinds of ice tea machines, think gas station soda foundation.  You can choose what they have already made or from the wall of hundreds of flavors!  They do hot and cold!  It is super refreshing after a good work out!  Today I decided I need an entire gallon!

Marley is my shadow!  She follows me around all day at home.  Half the time I have to share my office chair with her.   She loves her belly rubbed.

She has the best disposition and is my third baby for sure.

Taylor went home after school to play with Sophie.  When I went to pick her up I found her hanging from a rope with a life jacket on.  They are crazy!

Wednesday Taylor has her Texas History presentation at school.  She did fabulous!  This girl loves to research things and do presentations!

Gralyn came over to play after school and we decide to be human Tetris.  I might have had a neck ache that evening.

Thursday Kendall had her research presentation on Ocelots, a medium size wild cat.

She had to work with all the other jungle animals and perform a skit.  They did a great job!

These girls have been friends since 1st grade can't believe in a few weeks they will be graduating 5th grade.

Tierney, Kaya, Kendall, and Ella

Taylor had her relay team mates come over after school to make their t-shirts.

Their team name was Comets.

Love these girls.

Friday, I was back up at school for Quest Fair.  She presented this awhile back but they set up it so all the kids in the school can come through and see it.

After a crazy busy week we treated ourselves to The Bean!

Whoa, school is wrapping up and I am so grateful that I was able to attend all of their events and truly enjoy them with the stress of juggling my our class.  Loving this new work gig!

Sunday Funday on Lake Austin

Sunday we were invited to go on the lake with our friends the Horn's.  While we were loading up we saw this nasty thing on the docks.  GROSS!

The peeps could tube for hours!  They are a blast taking turns tubing it up!

Jordan and I holding down the front of the boat!

We drove to Hula Hut and had dinner.  On the way back the sun was setting and it was gorgeous!

I love this picture, amazing!  Life is good!

I promise the dads were on the boat but skipped all the pictures.
