We did a Halloween theme since no one could come up with something to go with the Chaparrals!

Everyone got a gatorade and a bucket filled with snacks and goodies with good luck notes on them.

The moms decorated the bus for them

 

and set them off in style (it was raining so we had to improvise and do it in the hallway)! 

Sadly, we lost in 4.

Kendall drove in to watch as this would be Taylor's last volleyball game ever. 😥

I will say I got teary eyed watching the girls come out of the locker room (some crying and some just looked sad), volleyball has a been such a huge part of our live the last 10 years.

Kylie and Dani came out to cheer/watch the girls.

Tuesday I had to drive to San Antonio to pick up the brick for the laundry room floor and had lunch with Mom.

Then I went out and had a great visit with Papa.

That evening when I got home Marley was NOT ok.  She didn't get up off the couch when I got home, she was shaking, and wouldn't open her eyes.  When I finally got her up she couldn't walk straight, kept bumping into things, her legs would go out under her and she was glitching- like she was having little seizures.  She scared the crap out of Ryan and I.  It was Halloween so naturally all the emergency vets were not accpeting any new patients or had a really long wait.  Finally we found one and got in the car and headed there.  We learned that she had a huge ulcer on her that was causing her a ton of pain and sensitivity to the light which is why she was twitching.  Got her some pain meds, antibotics, and eye drops and we were out of there.  I was honestly so scared that it was something big and we were not going to get good news.  

She did come home with a collar so she couldn't hurt her eye anymore and lets just say she is not a fan of it.

Tuesday was the last regular season game.

Thursday, we hosted the ODB's 

Krista, Jeana, Courtney, Shannon, Alison, Ann, Jill, and me

and their husbands!

I ordered a charcuterie board (everyone else brought an app also) and it was beautiful and so yummy!

Friday, we surprised Taylor by having Greyson come in and go to the Parker McCollum concert.

We had such a great time singing and dancing.

He puts on a fabulous show!

Saturday Ryan and I headed north for the Baylor game

but first alittle tailgate!

Kendall and some of her friends came by and hung out while it poured rain!

Rain stopped and we headed into the game

 

but then it came back and didn't stop!

I am beginning to think that Ryan and I bring the rain to the game since the two games we have been to it has rained.

So good to see our girl

We went to the lettermans lounge to hide from the rain and ran into Jon and his family.

Holy moly, I can't believe this is the last home game e v e r.

While Ryan watched 800 football games on TV I got my craft on.

These were green, orange, yellow and other fantastic Thanksgiving colors.

I wanted them to look more terracota and rustic.

Alittle paint and floor and they are perfet! 

Then I was on to the fireplace.

Taylor left after practice with some girlfriends to go to College Station for the Zach Bryan concert.

Taylor saw Greyson for a second before the concert.

Sunday they got to hang with the Jones' and apparently clean Greyson's dirty dorm.
