Another crazy weekend!

Friday, Taylor hung with some friends on the lake.

Meanwhile, this is what my kitchen looked like...

I have always prayed that our house would be a place where the girls felt comfortable having all their friends over.

This picture says it all.
This is a great group of kids that keep me on my toes and laughing (and praying)!

Saturday morning Taylor and I were off to Houston for her last volleyball tournament.

This girl knows how to make herself comfortable.

The girls played 3 games on Saturday and did well.

In typical Gralyn and Taylor fashion these have no personal space while cheering their team on.

Our hotel has this amazing lazy river in the shape of Texas!
The girls had about an hour to relax and play in it before bed.

Up and at em bright and early Sunday morning.
The girls had to be back at the courts at 7:30AM.
I snapped this pic while waiting for the elevator.

The girls had to ref so I walked to the park across the street to take a break from the whistles and balls for a bit.  It was a gorgeous day.

How we felt about the games.

They played two more games.

Eclipse 12 Black- it has been a season of highs and lows but lots of fun.
I am super proud of Taylor this season.  She really stepped up as a leader on her team and improved so many of her skills.

Three tired girls on the way home!

Playing catch up...

Taylor went to go watch Sophie sing her solo at school.

Sophie, Alex, Gralyn, and Ta

Both the girls had something going on Friday night so Ryan and I grab dinner and a movie!

Saturday we started with Kendall's cheer showoff!  Parents are not invited to pep rallies so we hadn't seen them perform since football season.  It was awesome to see how far they have come.

Great job girls!

Then it was on to volleyball!

Our entertainment was brought to you by Peyton, Ryan, and Brayden.  On who could do a wall sit the longest.  Volleyball tournaments are LONG!

Dinner time!

Ella came over before school one morning so I had to snap a picture because they all looked so cute!

Dryer Gate!  I have given it a name because it has turned into such an issue.  I won't go into all the details because it is quite boring and ridiculous but being without a dryer for over a week lead us to the laundry mat on Tuesday evening!

Ryan loved it, Kendall not so much.
I will say doing 6 BIG loads at one time is pretty amazing!

It is crazy to see how much laundry we make in just one week!

All about the pics!

Lone Star Classic- Dallas

Friday after school, Ryan and Taylor headed to Dallas for the Lone Star Classic.

Saturday they had a team lunch before they played.

Kendall and I stayed home.  Saturday we ran some errands, had lunch, and did some shopping.

Saturday some girlfriends came over to hang out

Kendall, Brooklyn, Ava, Ella, and Kylie

It's all about the selifes!

Sunday morning I drove up to Dallas to switch places with Ryan.  Taylor and I skipped team lunch so we could watch our good friends from The Woodlands, Mallory and Morgan play.  It was so nice to be able to watch them and catch up with Leslie for a bit.

Game time!

Taylor had a great day playing and serving!

They won all three of their games on Sunday!

Monday we were back up in the sea of courts for more games.

Volleyball OVER LOAD!

It was super busy weekend with lots of ups and downs but I am super proud of all of these girls!

 Headed home, Taylor helped fly!

Another one for the books

I joined some friends for dinner.

The ladies
Kristina, me, Jeanna, Kelly, Jade, Gensis, and Tiffany

Michael Waltrip was in town visiting and joined us for dinner.  We got to talking and he discovered who my dad was and he was in shock.  He kept saying "your Rick Baldwin's daughter".   We had an amazing conversation.  To hear him talk about the day my dad had his accident and that he had kept up with him over the years was crazy to me.  I have never really talked to anyone that knew him professionally, never the less that was on the track at the same as his accident.  Talking to someone that was in the same profession and hearing their perception was really eye opening to me.   He was so incredibly kind, thoughtful, sweet and sincere when speaking about him.  It was a really special evening for me.

Michael and I

Thursday some girlfriends and I went to Soul Cycle downtown and then had lunch at Tru Foods.

These veggies were almost to pretty to eat.

My poke bowl was insanely delicious!

Marley getting some after school love

Friday Kendall headed to Dallas with Ella and some friends for their last cheer competition of the season.

Friday night they all stayed at Great Wolf Lodge and celebrated Malia's birthday.

You can't cheer girls anywhere with our some stunts happening.

Meanwhile back home Taylor, Alex, Ryan and I had dinner at County Line.

Saturday we had lunch and watch I Can Only Imagine.  It was so good!

Sunday we skipped church and took care of some house things then headed back to the movies to see The Miracle Season.  We all really enjoyed it!
