Convention!!!

 Wednesday I took off for Phoenix for Younique's Convention!

As soon as I got there and checked in to the hotel Laura, Elisa, Jenny, & I grabbed some lunch!

That evening I had the Black Status Dinner at this really cool "restaurant" that was three different ones in one.

One was an indoor/outdoor vibe and the other was dark and moody Mexican.

Thursday morning I had a meeting then met up with my team for some lunch.

The day will filled with meetings but that evening we had the opening party with a Carrie Underwood concert!

We were like 10 feet from her and she puts on an amazing show!

That evening I took my team out to dinner and celebrated Erin's 40th birthday!

Honestly, the next few days were a blur of meetings, pictures, break out sessions, lots of note taking.

Convention is always brain overload but I absolutely love this company, its mission, our CEO Derek, my team, and seeing all my yesties!

Just another summer week

 Monday, I went to San Marcos to meet mom, Aunt Karen, Alysha, and Aunt Patty for lunch.

Moms night out- Ann, Krista, Courtney, me, and Shannon went to the movie Where the Crawdads Sing and then had a drink after.  The movie was just as good as the book!!

Taylor has ANOTHER derm appointment.  We have been going every 4-6 for awhile now.  She has been getting injections in her ear lopes for keloids.  She has had her ears pierced multiple times and keeps letting them close but this last time she had some scarring.  She is one tough cookie because the doc says the shots hurt and she doesn't even flitch.

I love this stinky fur ball who is in desperate need of a bath and haircut.

These girls have taken up cooking dinner instead of going out and I love it!

Went to County Line for dinner with these two on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Kendall was in Atlanta with Ann and Brayden for a baseball tournament.

Wednesday we volunteered at Austin Diaper Bank of NCL.

Last get together before Hadley moves to Colorado.

Saturday night we went to eat at Sawyer, which was yummy!

Then we headed to Cota (Circuit of the Americas) for some go-cart racing!

They were faster than I expected but it was really fun!

Saturday night we had an adult dinner.

Some of the Abilene crew was in town the holiday weekend.

Sunday was my birthday and the Madison's came in and we just chilled at the house and swam.

Monday we hit the lake!

Wednesday, we had dinner with the Ketch's to go over lake stuff.

Thursday, Taylor had AJV tryouts for court.

She got offered a team but decided to turn it down for a mulitude of reasons.  I am super proud of her for trying out, making a team, and deciding what is best for her.
