Wrapping up March!

 

Saturday, Kendall, some of her friends, and I went downtown to do alittle shopping.

Kendall hosted a Tiki themed party for her friends.

The girls and her did a great job decorating.

Naturally Taylor hosted her friends the next night

We had the outdoor lights replaced.

Love the new sleek black ones, such a big difference!

I was up in the attic looking for something and found my old Baylor Line jersey and one of Ryan's old game day jerseys.

Taylor's Spring Break

She spent the first few days with Kylie at the ranch with her family.  

Then she went with Claire to Port Arkansas for a few days.

Last days in Tulum!

 This view doesn't get old

After breakfast we loaded up and headed to Sacatun Cenote.

I am not going to lie I was a bit concerned once we walked down to the entrance and I dipped my toe in the water, it was chilly but I made it in!

This was the first cave 

We we passed to the next our guided pointed out the snakes and bats in the sides/ceiling.

This was another- there was a crack/hole right above this little island tree.

Naturally we had to get a group pic

All the rooms were different, some were small, some were huge, some had really long stalagmites hanging down others were alot shorter.

We made it!

We stopped on our way back to the resort for lunch and since it was St. Patrick's Day we were twinning!

We ended up just chilling on the patio and hot tub for the rest of the night.

Last day calls for breakfast on the beach

And then Covid test for all

Headed to the airport

we stopped at the Tulum Ruins, which were WAY bigger than I expected!

This trip was amazing and just what we needed.

The flight home was pretty quiet...

Monday, we laid out

Took a break from the sun and did some reading

That evening we wondered into town, everywhere is so picturesque!

I don't remember the name of the restaurant that we went to but the food was delicious but the entertainment was incredible!

They had these adorable swings

Tuesday morning Kristina and I got up and did a yoga class on property.  At point she had us try headstand, I one hundred percent thought not a chance in hell!  To my surprise I could do them!!

The class was this cool hut on top of one of the buildings.

That afternoon Ryan and I took off to do a bit of exploring.

We cam across this tree that was wrapped in red foil.

We walked a bit and then came back to the resort and grabbed some bikes.

When you are on the street there is ZERO breeze!!  It was quite streamy!

We stopped at Matcha Mama and tried some.

I actually really liked it!

It was this adorable cottage with swings to sit and enjoy.

Dinner time!

We went Kin Tok or "Birds Nest".

The views were incredible!

We had to walk across all these bridges, go up a zillion stairs and finally made it to our table or "nest".

The most comfortable table I have ever sat at!
