Spring Break! We had planned a trip to Mexico with the girls, they have been wanting to go for years. A big debactle, lots of tears, a trip to Houston, hours on the hours trying to get their passports renewed I had to accept that it wasn't going to work out. BIG mistake and over look on my end. The hotel would not refund our rooms so Ryan and I decided to still go.

We flew into Cancun and had a two hour drive to Tulum so we stop half way and had lunch.
Finally, got to our hotel
Had chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us.
That evening we just chilled, had snacks on the patio, and hung out.
It was super windy once you got to the beach but it was too pretty not to just lay out, read a book, and sip a cold cocktail.
We got ready and headed to dinner- gotta love hotel lighting!
Google said it was a 10 minute walk to off we went
Little did we know that there were no sidewalks, hardly two lanes, lots of traffic, and a very uneven road but it was nice to see some of the town and stop in some of the boutiques along the way.

The food was delicious and they brought us sparklers before we left.
We did alittle more shopping on the way back to the hotel!
I convinced everyone to stand in line (it was no more than 10 minutes) to take a picture with this guy!
He was huge and made out of wood!
We went back and had some cocktails, listened to music, and just chilled.
