Christmas!

Christmas Eve morning the girls and I got busy in the kitchen!

We made Buckeyes, Puppy Chow, and a chocolate chip bundt cake for Christmas morning.

Then we got ready and headed over to Sonny & Carol's to visit with Aunt Ann, Uncle Jerry, Keith and Betty who were in town.  Then some of us went to church.  We ran into the Buchanan's

My favorite part of every Christmas Eve service, Silent Night

All I wanted was a good family pic and this is what I get.
After chruch we went back to Carol & Sonny's to have visit and have dinner.

Selfies always work!

Santa came!

Our "elf Suzie" still brings mathcing pj's every Christmas eve!
Kendall- Most Likely to wath all the Christmas movies
Ryan- Most Likely to party with Santa
Taylor- Most Likely to get the most presents
Me- Most Like to eat Santa's cookies

We opened stockings then everyone came over for breakfast and to open gifts.

I apparently took zero pictures. We had breakfast caserole, bundt cake, fruit, mimosas, and coffee.  Then set the the good part of the day opening presents, visiting, and watching football.  It was a very laid back relaxing Christmas!

Park City you were one for the books

Day three and last day of skiing!

The sunsets were beautiful

The first group loaded up on the van and headed to the slopes

At this point everyone had found their perfect ski groups so everyone would start together make a plan of 3-5 routes and then make a plan to meet at which lift.  It worked out so nice for everyone and it was so fun to run into them on the runs.

Kara, Taylor, Taylor, & Claire

Kendall, me, and Sam

This one is a trip to ski with, she has improved so much over the years and is so FAST now!
She just goes, dances, sings, talks, and just has the best time going down.

Merchant was decked out in his Santa suit

Skiing with the girls is one of my absolute favorite things.  I love that they love it as much as I do.

Got to ski a bit with Ann

Ski Apres!!

That evening we had a spaghetti dinner at the condo and everyone was pretty tired after three days of skiing.  Plus, everyone had to so serious cleaning up and packing to get ready to leave the next morning.

Our bus picked us up at 8:30 to head to the airport

The views are just breathtaking

All the kids did amazing at checking themselves in, bags checked, security, grabbed some food, and made our way to the gate.  I am sure we were at sight making our way through the airport.

The trip was one for the books, lots of great memories, laughing till your stomach hurt, sore legs, and lots of fun!

Park City Day 3

Tuesday, we were up and out on the slopes by 9.  We decided to take the bus to the other village and ski on that side.  I will say that I personally liked the skiing over there better but the lines for the lifts were awful.

Comfy day and yes they  skiied/boarded in these all day.

That afternoon we (Ann, Merchant, Ryan, Griffin-he couldn't ski becasue of a shoulder injury and me) went snowmobiling.

This experience was really cool since we started half way up the mountain we did a bunch of trails up and down.  You could see the skiers, all the landscape, and out for miles.  Ryan doesn't ski so it was really nice that he got to see more of the mountain and how beautiful it is.

We stopped for a rest and took some pictures.
Merchant, Ann, me, Ryan & Griffin

Then we went to a frozen lake and they just let us go in circle as fast as you want to!

It was super fun!

That night everyone got dressed so naturally the girls had to have a photoshoot first...

Waiting for our shuttle
Ryan, Slater, Samantha, Kendall, Brayden, Riley, Taylor, Max, Kara, Clayton, & Griffin

We went to Old Main St. to Main St. Pizza and Noodles, it was the perfect spot for a group our size.

After dinner the kids walked around the area for a bit and then headed back to the condos while the adults did some exploring of our own.  Lots of great shops and bars!

We stop at No Name Saloon and it was all decked out for Christmas.

This street reminded me alot of Fredricksberg, shops, bars, restaurants
Such a cute little street

Finished the night out with matching PJS!!

Off to Park City!!

I was super excited about this trip, I have been to the Park City area once before for a Younique Retreat but never to ski and it has been on my list.

There were 4 parents going and a SHIT ton of kids (I honestly didn't know the final count going in).

Somehow most of us got on the same flight out.

We got there, took the bus to the condo, got checked in, and had our skis/boards and groceries delievered and took off to the village to grab some dinner.

With a group this size we had to wait a bit for a table.

Claire & Taylor

Day 2!!!

It is GORGEOUS!!!

Skiing with these two is one of my most favorite things, I love that they are so confident on the slopes.

These two were easy to spot on the slopes between the bright pink jacket and the cowboys jersey.

Group pic!

Love watching Taylor board

Super Claire & Taylor

Somehow I got talked into doing  Sidewinder a black diamond that had a sign in front of that "ungroomed, rough, and sticks" We all made it down but the top half of the run was rough!

We saw some mule deer when we were on a lift.

That evening we had tacos and a big game of LRC.
