Family Time + Easter

Ryan and I got a long overdue date night in!

Love getting pics and facetime calls from this one, you just never know what it might be!

Thursday we had Taylor's college tshirt pics-
We official have an Aggie in the house!!

That evening we went to Wicked!  Ryan and I saw it years ago in Chiciago and loved it so when it was in town I wanted to take the girls.

Friday, Taylor headed to the Jones' lakehouse stocked with Easter baskets and gifts.  After a car ride they didn't look as "put together" but sill cute!  They dyed eggs, did a hunt, surfed, and hung with his family.

Meanwhile, Avery came to stay with us!!  Kendall and Avery are 16 days and entire head apart!!

She brought me the most beautiful tulips

Saturday we went to Aunt Karen's to celebrate with family.
Kendall always finding a lap to sit in.
It was super chll, we ate, visited, took lots of pictures, and just hung out.
Of course, no family get together to complete without Papa falling asleep and us taking a picture with him.

That evening Avery and Kendall dyed and decorated eggs and did a really good job of being creative.

The Easter Bunny came!
We had breakfast, went to church, had an egg hunt, and were planning on going on the boat but the weather was cloudy, a bit windy, and cool so we had lunch at the house and just hung out.
On the way home from church there was a lady on the side of the road selling Bonsai trees and Ryan got so excited and stop brought himself one!

The whole weekend was great filled with family!

Getting crafty!

This dog knows how to live life in the most relaxed way possible!

We celebrated Robbie's birthday at J. Carver's

Taylor was heading to A&M for Greyson's toga party this weekend so we got crafty!  After watching TikTok's, a trip to Target to buy some king size pillows, alittle experimenting, we had a plan to turn this pillowcase into a toga!  Then we had to go to Micheal's and Joann's to find some rope and accents for it.  While we were there we found her first dorm decor, a gold thumb!

Taylor has a SERIOUS obsession with peppercini's!  She eats them right out of the jar and goes through at least a jar a week!!

Have to say I think we did a great job on her toga!

Meanwhile, I meant some friends downtown for some lunch and a drink before the UT/Baylor baseball game.

The lakehouse got painted and I love it!

Spring Break week 2

Amy and I made a trip to Costco to prepare for the trip, $1000 and two carts full later we were ready!

Our house was the perfect set up for our group, it had a huge open downstairs- a kitchen with two big islands, two huge kitchen tables, and a living room.  It had a pool and decent size porch and backyard for everyone to hang out and then a million bedrooms for everyone to spread out.

When we first arrived our neighbors were arriving also and it happened to be a huge group of Dripping Spring kids which Taylor and alot of the other kids knew.  It ended up being so nice because they all hung out a ton and didn't really leave the house except to go to the beach during the day.

Amy, Jade, and I spent the next three days cooking, cleaning, driving them to the beach, picking them up, doing laundry, and trying to keep up and keep track of 19 kids.  We hardly sat down or slept but we all had a great time.  The kids were all really good and had very little drama to deal with.  The weather ended up being amazing the whole time!

Jade brought all kinds of St Patrick's day decorations and stuff to make jello shots, we celebrated on Saturday since we were leaving on actual St Patrick's Day.

Some of us went over to the Bierhaus (it is literally right across the street from our house) and before you knew it the entire group was there and had taken over the DJ/karoke and entertaining the entire place.  The kids were amazing and so much fun to watch.  My high school friend and team mate Stevie and her family came also, always great to catch up with them.

Port A year 3 was a hit and I am so truly thankful that I got to be part of it with Taylor and her friends.
