Did someone say crawfish boil?

Saturday was a super busy but fun day!  We were invited to three (yes three) different crawfish boils!  But first up was Taylor's volleyball game.  For some reason this is the only picture I snapped!

Taylor left after the game to go to a friends house to play.  We went to home to grab a cooler and a dish and were off to crawfish boil number 1.

They had a fabulous backyard plus they had 8 chickens!  They were put up of course but I want my own chickens!  Kendall enjoyed their rope swing.

Had alittle snack and then sadly we had to leave to head to the next one but it was super yummy, well that is what Kendall and Ryan said.  I don't eat crawfish.

The kids all swam and the adults just hung out and chatted.  We never mad it to the third one.  We were all exhausted from a full day.  I took this picture on the way home, beautiful sunset.

Week Recap! Busy Week!

The Mansfield Dam opened one of the tunnels (is that what you call it?)!  It was the first time in years.  Since we didn't have school on Monday.  We went to check it out.  They open the area pretty close to it for the public and it was amazing and scary to see that much water rushing through one area.

Tuesday I had my last Bible study for the year.  This group of women have been a huge blessing this year.  I loved our talks every week.  

After school it was dentist appointments for the girls.  They both got a good check up.  No cavities! 

A few weeks back we did a modeling session for a local photographer.  She sent us some sneak peaks.   I can't wait to get some printed. 

Wednesday Marley got a hair cut and the groomer put green and yellow ribbons in her hair after noticing her Baylor collar.

It had been raining Tuesday and most of the day Wednesday so we celebrated the sunshine with some Menchies after school.

Marley runs to the backdoor everyday around 2:45.  She loves going on the golf cart to pick the girls up from school.  She just sits and chills and wags her tail at all the kids.

We were dog sitting Chewy and Nacho this week and Marley is not a big fan of them.  I tried to snap a picture of all three of them sitting on the stairs and she wouldn't even look at me.

Whoa- busy week but I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Weekend Shenanigans

Saturday Taylor had a volleyball and after we headed to sweet Kendra's 3rd birthday party.  It was at a great park on Lake Austin.

Dailies and Date Night!

I have never been a big fan of green juices but I have found this one and love it!  So weird but it has some pineapple in it so takes some of the "green" taste away.

It had been raining for days (like 4 days straight) so Tuesday when the sun came out.  We decided to do homework outside at The Coffee Bean!

Wednesday Ryan was out of town for the night, which means "make your dinner" night.  They girls have gotten pretty creative in their dinners because it is always grilled cheese and tomato soup for me!  Taylor snapped this picture of her dinner- cheese quesadillas and refried beans.

Taylor drew this on the driveway it says "love yourself".  I pray that both of them always know that they are fearfully and wonderfully made!  Perfectly imperfect!

Thursday was Family Picnic Day at school and it was raining again so we had to eat inside.  The school bookfair was going on so had to visit it of course.  Kendall and her crazy crew of amazing girlfriends.

That night Ryan and I had date night!  We love trying new places.  Austin is filled with amazing new restaurants popping up all the time. 

As we were walking up there was an entire wall of honeysuckle, it smelled fantastic!  Honeysuckle will always remind me of Grandma, she had across the back fence.

We had heard great things about Justine's, its a french inspired.  It was a super cute venue but not sure we ordered the best things.  But we had a great time with each other!

Someone had an amazing weekend!

Weekly Recap

Monday I started with Barre3, I am obsessed with barre.  I have been trying to go 3 or 4 times a week.  It is such a great workout!

Tuesday I have bible study and one of our leaders said this and it really stuck with me.  I love that we are given so much grace but especially with the girls.  

Wednesday, my third daughter Ella was over playing and somehow they ended up in my room and a dance party ensued!

I took Kendall to Starbucks, she loves the Vanilla Fraps and then we headed to get our nails done.  I loved spending some one on one time with her.  She is growing up way to fast.

Weekend Recap

Sunday we started with 2 volleyball games

Taylor had her serves down today, they were awesome!

The girls won both games, right after I went to have my hair highlighted.  I hate taking the time to get my hair down.  I know for some people it is super relaxing but not for me.  It just takes to long.

Sunday- The photographer who took our Christmas pictures contacted me and asked if the girls and I would be interested in doing a photoshoot for her.  She needed some mother/daughter pic for some marketing.  In exchange we would get some free pictures, deal!  Well the weather was overcast and wind and I didn't see her email postponing the shoot till after we were all ready.  So I took the girls down to the lake to snap my own pictures.
