And that's a wrap August!

Friday was our first time to take the boat out by ourselves.  To say I was nervous is an under statement.  My job is to take the boat on and off the trailer and then pull up to the dock and pick Ryan up.  I have very little boating experience by myself, I was was literally shaking but I DID IT!!

We took Sonny & Carol out with us, they have been here for 5 years and never been on Lake Austin.

They loved it!  We drove down to a cove and swam for a bit and then went to Hula Hut for dinner.
It was a great evening,

Just another selfie from K

Saturday we went out again with Kendall and her girlfriends.

They all took turns surfing.

It was a beautiful ride back

Meanwhile, Taylor was out with her friends doing the same thing.

Sunday we went out AGAIN as a family.
This girl loves to be on the water and she is getting quite good a driving.

We stopped at Ski Shores for lunch

We are still learning all the ins and outs on the boat and how to get a good wake so Taylor decided to take a seat and surf.  Goof ball!

Family selfie!

Love my peeps

Monday was Ryan's BIG 4-0!!!
He is not big on celebrating his birthday, he just wanted to have dinner at home and chill.  The girls and I did some decorating and baked him a brookie (chocolate chip cookie on the bottom and brownies on the top) and ice cream (his favorite).

Apparently I didn't take one picture that evening of anyone, whoops.

Back to school....finally!

First day of "school"
Kendall- 10th
Taylor-9th

The girls set up shop in the dinning room and they were off.

Gralyn was having internet problems so she came over for the second part of the day.

After a really unusal first day of school the sunset was a beautiful reminder.

Online virtual school day 2 and we have added a visitor, a fan, lots of snack, and who knows what else.

This is going to be interesting...hoping it is not long term!

So we did a thing!

We bought a boat!!!
We all are super excited and love it!
Can't wait to take it out.

Marley has officially joined online school

A bonus to virtual school is making use of lunch time to do an NCL project.

Saturday, Kendall went out of the lake with some friends.

Taylor and I went to Kristina's for some girl time.

Sunday, Taylor worked on her tan.

Bedtime snuggles are still my favorite.

Friends, family, and fun!

Monday the girls and I went out on the boat with the Buchanan's for a few hours.
Taylor finished her online boaters license so she is taking any chance to practice.

Taylor wanted to do a little photoshot (for the Gram, of course)

Soaking up the sun

So grateful for our friendship

We started Tuesday with a walk

These two are a serious bond, no worries I am still her (Marley that is) favorite.

And ended it with volleyball.

Taylor wanted to have all her girlfriends over for lunch on Wednesday.
Most of these girls have been friends since Kinder or 1st, I love their friendship and them.

Basically how we are feeling these day....
alittle loving, alittle a bit losing it, and a side of crazy!

Some resturants have started to open back up so we took advantage and walked around The Domain for awhile.

That was cut short by more volleyball.

Love when I walk upstairs and find them together, melts this mommas heart.

Ryan and I got out of Friday night for a little date, it has been way to long!

Meanwhile, I get selfies like these from these nuts!

Sunday we met Mom, John, and Papa for lunch.
It was really good to see them and get a real hug.

A new month...

It's August 1st and still no end in sight for the craziness going on.  We are trying to make the best of it and continue on the best we can.

Saturday morning someone else thought she should join.

Sunday vibes!

Monday morning Ann and I showed up matching for our walk.

This evening called for ice cream because why not!

Tuesday I took the girls and some friends to Top Golf
Not the best golfers but they sure are fun!

Kendall, Brayden, Brooklyn, & Beck

Claire, Cece, and Taylor

Wednesday was Connor's 16th birthday so we had pizza and cake to celebrete.

Coach Jay talked Taylor into doing some sand since school volleyball isn't starting until who knows when.

I love the mornings when Kendall and Coach Marley join me for a workout.

A family that pedicures together stays together.
We apparently have a thing for slides also.

Ryan came home with a new toy on Friday.  He was wanted another Golden Tee machine since he got rid of his in college.  This one is not near as big but it does the trick and fits perfect upstairs.
