Show Time!

The girls have taken a combo (ballet and tap) dance class all year and this past Saturday was recital time!

They had dress rehearsal in the morning.   They have some school friends in the their class and we tried to get a group photo but trying to get five very excited little girls to focus was impossible.

This is what they wanted to do

and this is what we wanted them to do but again not all looking in the same direction.

I love this one of Kendall, this girl loves to sing and dance.

They did two different dances and both were super cute.

My sweet girls after the show.

The gang with all their flowers.

Grams came in for the special event, thanks Grams.

So did Mimi and Poppy, thanks!

Getting so grown up

I am so proud of my girls, it was a special evening for everyone.

Musicals

Barn Yard Moosical Time!

The whole kindergarden put on a musical the other day and Taylor had a speaking part that she was super excited about.  Grams made her a cow dress and I ordered her a headband with cow ears and tail and add in some face paint and she was a full on cow.

Taylor is super shy these days in front of people but she did a great job when her line was up.

The play was really cute and we are proud of our little cow.

Next up for the 1st grade musical call "Arf".  All the kids dressed up as different breeds of dogs.

Kendall didn't have a speaking part but she wanted to be a poodle.

Her class was the last in so unfortunately she was in the back, you can see her white ears in the back.  She also had some face paint and a tail.

After the play with her BFF Ms A (she took her ears off).  It was really cute and the kids are a great time.

Sweet Visit

Wednesday we got to visit with Ryan's grandfather and Uncle Steve, they live in Rockport and don't get to see them much.  They stop in Austin for the nights so we had a yummy dinner and they spent the night with us.  It was so good to catch up.

Random

These are some random pictures from my phone.

Last weekend Ryan rearranged the playroom and made the girls a fort.  They decided that they wanted to sleep in there.  It was so cute!

We went up to the pool to cool down and the girls had a great time jumping in a millions times.

The is Kendall

Field Day

Field Day was rained out again this year so they moved in inside.  I got to field day alittle late and found out that Kendall got her finger smashed in the bathroom door right before it started.  It was pretty bad.  One of my friends is a teacher there and comforted her till I got there.

Kendall and her sweet friends giving her some love.

Kendall and some of her classmates.

I was like a ping pong ball going back and forth between the girls events.

Taylor in the hamster ball.

Taylor and her butterfly face paint.

Even with a banged up finger the both had a blast, hopefully next year it won't rain on field day.

School madness!

Friday was "Family Picnic Day" at the girls school.  So I headed up with a blanket and picnic for brunch with Taylor first.  Her lunch is at 10:45!

Right after was 1st grade lunch with my sweetie Kendall.

When I got home I found this cute picture on my phone with Kendall and Miss A, sweetest girls ever.

After two picnics I went home for just a quick break and then headed back up to school for Mother's Day Spa in Kindergarten with Taylor.

We got the full treatment.  A massage, lemon water and snacks, my make up done, and

my toe nails painted.

And made some silly faces!

Taylor made me some really nice gifts.

A purse full  of goodies and a hot plate.

Then she gave me this cute little purse filled out with information about me.

Apparently "I am as tall as a trampoline" and weigh "63 pounds" (not since I was 10).

I "really like to shop" (she has that right) and I "always forgot to pick her up".  WHAT!?!?!

I have never forgot to pick her up EVER just for the record.

And this card

Thanks Taylor for all the super special gifts and all the wonderful treatment.  It was a super busy but fun day!
