Weekly Roundup!!

Monday after school we went over to the Lackey's to visit their new family members.

I started running again in the morning and taking some different routes.

Running down to the lake is just gorgeous at this time.

Thursday, Taylor had her first volleyball scrimmage.

Friday, was Ryan's birthday!!!

I (yup you read that right- me) grilled steaks and veggies for us and we watched FOOTBALL!!!

Who needs plates when you have forks!  :) 

Back to the grind!

This is the first full week of school and it was jammed packed before it even started!

Monday after drop off I found these gems on my phone.

This girl has so many crazy faces, love her!

Apparently this is a "thing".

Taylor has try outs Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for volleyball.

Friday on the way out of school they got their letter.

She made it!  So proud of her!

We, of course, had to celebrate so we picked up Gralyn (who made the team also) and headed to Menchie's!

The Buchanan's sent Taylor a sweet note and some Tiff's Treat to congratulate her!

She let everyone have one and then I found them in the microwave....

Saturday, Ryan had to work and Taylor was at a friends house so Kendall and I went out on the lake with some friends.

She has been working on surfing and finally got and stayed up!  YAY!

It had been awhile since I surfed but after a few tries I got up!

 That evening we all went to High 5 for some fun.

We bowled, ate dinner, and played games!!

We had a great time!

First Day of School and Weekend Fun!

Since school started on a Thursday, Friday after school it was back hanging with friends.

Last summer excursion!

Monday was our last day to play for the summer :( 

First stop was Hula Hut for some lunch.

Next stop was Mayfield Park

All the peacocks were walking over to this area and lying down, they looked like they were dead.

Next up, was some murals downtown

Final destination was The Baked Bear!

You get to pick your cookies, the ice cream and what kind of toppings for an ice cream sandwich or ice cream bowl.  It was HUGE!

Great day exploring new and old places, love this city!

Monday and Tuesday were a whirl wind with unpacking from Seaside, running errands, and me getting ready to head out of town for Convention.

Wednesday, headed to SA for Convention and Ryan took Taylor to the first part of volleyball tryouts for AJV.

Friday, I planned a big team meet up and my mom came and joined in on the fun!

Saturday after the Gala I drove home so I could take Taylor to the second part of volleyball tryouts.

There were over 120+ girls there and spots for 80

Taylor made 13 Toro!!

We are so proud of her and can't wait for the season!

We headed straight from tryouts to an NCL meeting, home for a quick change and off to tumbling for Kendall.  It was a crazy busy day but I love watching the girls do their things that they love.
