Gingerbread Houses & A Project!

Thanksgiving is over so that means time to decorate for CHRISTMAS!!!

This one couldn't wait to build her gingerbread house.

They kept the high school closed for the week after Thanksgiving to help try and control the spread of the Rona so Gilly's home school continues.

Night one-
These two had to get in on the gingerbreah house decorating, lets just say they had to get super creative after a few mishaps.

Night two-
after breaking a few pieces, the sides not staying together
A hot glue gun and a remodel was nessesary to finish the job!

Project Time!
It took awhile to talk Ryan into this one but he finally caved.
He got all the supplies, we painted all the boards the weekend before.

Blank wall ready for alittle spruce up!

Lots of measuring, cutting, trips in and out, and we were rolling.

So happy with the end result, I love it!

Taylor and her friends had a gingerbread house party!

Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving prep is underway!

I needed some center pieces and flowers so I grabbed a bunch at Trader Joe's and got to work.

Now, I have never done floral arrangements before but I figured it can't be that hard.

I have to say that I was pretty impressived with how they turned out.

It was a smaller group this year due to corona, other family plans, and such but it was still a great day filled with friends and family!  I didn't get a big group picture for some reason but did get a few others.

The cousins!

Someone ate to much turkey!

The cool people stayed around and we played a bunch of fun games.

More birthday celebrations!

Apparently it is birthday season, Taylor celebrated Dani's birthday with friends at her house.

Taylor and I made a Costco run after her private lesson and she decided that she was to tired to walk and rode around in the basket the whole time.  We got some looks!.

Grams came in town to visit!

Family dinner and my family was not very cooperative about taking a pic :(

Friday night we celebrated Kristina's birthday!

First up was dinner

Then drinks on the roof top

Then we went back to the room for late night pj party!

Brittany and I planned a little day trip to Fredricksberg to celebrate how special and thankful for our friend we are.

First stop Grape Creek, we got a small tour of the process.  Some of it was closed due to Covid.

The grounds were beautiful

Then the wine tasting!

The charcuterrie board was delicious

Then we headed to Main Street to do some shopping and have "alittle" bit of fun

Great day celebrating and so thankful for both of these girls and their friendship.
