Baylor Game & Ryan's Birthday

Saturday was opening weekend of college football season and Ryan's birthday!

After letting Daddy sleep in and making him breakfast, we headed up 35.

The girls have grown so much since last season that we all "needed" some new gear and of course to check out Lady and Joy.

Then we headed to do some tailgating and have some fun in touchdown alley.

The freshman line was HUGE

GAME TIME!

At half time Ryan's decade was getting recognized for their accomplishments.  I (of course) was on the wrong end of the field for really good pictures :(

Ryan's back is to us, he use to stand like this all the time on the side line during the game.

 The girls and I

Baylor won and it was a super fun day celebrating Ryan's birthday also.

Afterwards we headed to Amy's for some ice cream, yum.

We did some family shopping and got some new shades.

The girls and I hiked the trails in our neighborhood a few times in the mornings.  The views are incredible and they love it!

As one last hooray before school started, a bunch of neighborhood friends rented a party boat for the afternoon!

It was a perfect day for the lake

Pony Camp?

Kendall's friend told us about this "Pony Camp" that she wanted her to go with her.  It was only 3 hours long, you brought your lunch, got to play with bunnies and horses, swim, and it was only $10!!!  Kendall was super excited she loves horses and doing anything with her friends.  So the first time she went another mom took and picked up so I didn't get to see this place but I the other mom sent me some pictures.  It was the craziest thing ever.

All the kids hanging out with their bunnies.

Miss Priss the pig, who is not very friendly.

Kendall came home and could not stop talking about how much fun she had with the bunnies and all the crazy things that they did.  They each got to pick out a bunny when they first got there and it was theirs the rest of the day.  They carried these tiny bunnies around everywhere, dressed them up in clothes and did their hair, decorated their homes/crates.  They also swam in the pond and fed some animals  It was wild.  I asked about the ponies since it was advertised as a pony camp.  She said the lady talked to them about them but their were miniature ponies so they couldn't ride them but got to brush them and feed them.  She wasn'timpressed, the star of the camp was her bunny.

Kendall and her friends loved it so much they went a few more times over the next week or two.  Taylor, of course, then wanted to go so I gathered up some of her friends and they went for a day.  They all LOVED it also.

Taylor, Kendall, and their bunnies (I can't remember the bunnies names)

Taylor's friend and her bunny.  Notice the bunnies home (pink crate) decorate with wall paper and a hanging chandelier!

I am sure we will be going back next summer ALOT it was big hit!  My yuppies becoming country girls!

We did the low rock first-

Next we tried the high rock which was even better!

No boat day would be complete without a little dance party.

or drinking

Great times, great friends and another one down in the books.

Trip to Corpus Chrisit

The girls and I took a road trip to Corpus Christi to go visit Aunt Jennifer, Uncle Joe, Avery and Alison in their new city and home!

Since they had just moved in we (and I mean me) helped do a little unpacking and decorating.  It was fun but I don't want to have to move again for long time, it is ALOT of work!

The next day Uncle Joe took all three big girls to the beach.  Thank you Uncle Joe.  They had a great time playing in the sand, eating ice cream, and jumping waves.  Unfortunately Uncle Joe didn't take any picture but we will over look.

We did a little backyard swimming.

One of my favorite pictures of Kendall and Alison.  Kendall loves Alison so much.  She will make an incredible babysitter one day soon.

Jennifer and I took the girls eat some yummy seafood at The Laguna Reef

It was a little difficult with the wind to take a good pic

Group pic

These girls love each other and have so much fun (and get in so much trouble) together.

The last day we took a trip to the Corpus Christi Aquarium.  It has been a few years since we have visited and they have added some new stuff.

We got to touch sting rays!  No matter how much reassurance I gave Kendall she didn't participate, she was worried they would sting her.  But she enjoyed watching them swim around.

We watched the dolphin show

Taylor and Avery touched the sharks!

I even learned a new interesting fact!  Flounders can lay flat and make themselves blend in.  I saw this on the floor and asked one of the workers if the fish was dead, oops.

The rescue turtles were my favorite.  They are so pretty and big!

Scary!

Sweet girls

After visiting the aquarium the girls and I headed home and not 10 minutes in this what my car looked like!  They slept for over two and half hours.  It was nice drive home!
