December Randoms!

When we went to get our Christmas tree they had this cute cut out

San Antonio again

On the 30th we packed up and headed back to San Antonio to drop the girls off with Grams so Ryan and I could fly out to Phoenix for the Fiesta Bowl the next morning!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve Mimi, Poppy, Aunt Casey, and Uncle David came in town to spend the holidays with us.  When we came home from church we took some (and I mean a TON) of family pictures.

The Nutcracker

Mom came to join the girls in at The Nutcracker.  We ate Moonshine downtown first, yum!

It was cold!

The girls always enjoy going to The Nutcracker.  I honestly wasn't going to get tickets this year but both of them asked and I was glad I did.  They got new costumes and it was beautiful.

Christmas in San Antonio

We started Christmas in San Antonio with Grams' traditional gingerbread house decorating.

This is taken very serious, even though half of the candy never actually makes it onto the house :/

It is so pretty at night all lit up, this is Candy Cane Forest

We watch the Shamu show but one of the whales had just had a baby so if was really cool.  The whole thing was about the mom and baby and no all the jumps and "showy" stuff.  Educational if you will.

The next morning, it was Christmas (not really but we pretended)!

John gave the girls 100 one dollar bills in a box and they were over the moon!  They didn't want to talk about anything else the rest of the day.
