Wrapping up August!

ODB Night!!
Shannon, Alison, Ann, me, & Jeana

We went to The Commodore and it is absolutely gorgeous!

We ate Lutie's and it was delicious!

Taylor had Bible Study

Love these girls and so thankful for Amy who pours into them.

Thursday we planned to meet Kendall half way to have dinner to celebrate Ryan's birthday.
She begged me to make her some chicken pesto pasta, she said she needed real food and not cafeteria food.  So I made her some homemade cookies, pasta, and grab her a bottle of her favorite Whispering Angel.

These two were happy to see each other!

Happy Birthday RyRyan!!!

Getting in the groove...

Kendall hid a bunch of notes around the house before she left.
Taylor was the first one to find one!

First day of school fit check!

Anna (Luke's mom) hosted a dinner for a bunch of moms who just dropped off a kid at college.
It was so nice to see everyone and hear all about everyone's experience.

Love when I get selfies-
Kendall and one of her new friends on their way to work out

Taylor working on her college applications, apparently sitting upside down helps.

Volleyball game on Tuesday and Friday!

Sunday was family mani/pedi time

Found another note and I miss doing your laundry too!

Dallas VB Tournament

Super thankful for good friends giving Taylor some extra love while we were in moving Kendall in.

We drove straight to Dallas from Waco and went straight to bed.
Friday we were on the court!

Three games later and we went 2-1 for the day.

The girls got dressed and had a dinner.

Parents dinner!

Then we got a facetime call from Kendall and Kate introducing us to QuesoBeans, their new fish!

Saturday was another three games and didn't go so well.

We made a pit stop in Waco to grab a late lunch, drop off some things we picked up in Dallas for K, and get one last hug!

Baylor Move In Day

Bright and early we were up to hit the road but frist Marley had a gift for Kendall.

These two sure are going to miss each other.

Then Kendall and I drove Taylor to school to get on the bus to head to Dallas for her volleyball tournament.  No one said a word the entire way to school just tears rolling down their faces.

I will say this was the hardest moment for me to see these two just hug and cry literally just broke my heart.

Then Kendall and I met Ryan on the road and headed up 35.
Pulled in to unload.
It is crazy organized and super fast.
You pull up and all the kids come flooding to your car and start taking everything out.
Then they tell you to go park and check in at the dorm.
When we got to her room everything was right there waiting for us.
It is the wildest thing, we literally didn't carry a single thing in.

Collins was closed all last year getting renovated, it now has a big entrance on both sides.

They had a photo booth set up for the girls.

Now to work some magic!

I didn't take one picture during the process, we were all super busy figuring out out to arrange the room, moving furniture, putting furniture together, making beds, unpacking boxes, hanging curtains, pictures, lights, and all the things.  We started about 10:30 and finished around 4ish.

It turned out so pretty!

Then we drove around campus, went to grab some dinner, and put off saying good bye for as long as we could.  We all gave each other hugs, told her that I loved her and so proud of her and walked out.  I might have cried in the car for the next hour.  Leaving is not easy but I am so excited for her to start this next adventure.

First day- senior year!

First day of Senior Year!!

All the seniors meet early to take pics in the parking lot,
sadly this is the only one I got.

We had the saddest family dinner, Kendall requested spaghetti (her favorite) and pretty sure no one said a word during dinner or hardly ate but just sat there and cried.

After dinner Taylor headed to Drip to go say bye to Greyson.
Kendall went to the Buchanan's to say bye to them.

Then we loaded up his truck and her car all of the things.
Things really hit home that all of our lives are about to change.

She basically took her entire closet!

Everything else went in the back of Ryan's truck!

It was a day/night filled with lots of tears, emotions (happy, sad, nervous, excited, worried, and everything imbetween).  Not sure anyone slept really well or at all.
