Ramblings of the week

These two- always up to something

Sunday were we suppose to go to San Antonio to see some family but plans got canceled so we met Grams, John, Laura, Haley, and Aunt Karen in San Marcos for some lunch!  Of course we had to stop at the outlets to do some shopping!

Beans (aka Laura) and the girls

Just a normal trip to Home Goods!
I really wanted to bring this bunny home with me but he stayed :(

Monday I meet Carly at Ride for alittle Justin Timberlake vs Taylor Swift ride!
It was so fun and so hard!

Got our Gavin's Warrior Gang bracelets on.  Gavin was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma and we have been praying for him and know that he is going to kick this!

Wednesday was 6th grade line dancing night!  Last year this was one of my favorite night and this year did not disappoint!  I love watching the kids get into it, especially the boys!  Taylor doesn't love preforming in front of an audience but I still enjoyed watching her!

Other than the fact that I think they look like prisoners or gang members, I love that they learn these line dances.  Life skills at its best!

Taylor's group performing their original line dance.

The finale is the cotton eye joe and they invite audience members to join in.  Kendall couldn't wait!

Saturday was a full day of volleyball!

Gralyn and Taylor being their "normal" goofy selves on the sidelines.

Love that these girls are becoming friends on and off the court.

Gralyn, Taylor, Merrill, Sophiann, McKinley

Taylor had a great day playing.  In the second game she served six non returned serves!!!

Taylor had some visitors for the last two games!

Eclipse 12 Black- placed 3rd in their pool!
So proud of all of the girls!

Basketball and Valentine's

Sunday evening on the couch looks like this....

Monday is was cold in the morning, someone found the best spot in the house.

We went to Kura Revolving Sushi Bar for dinner before the game.  This place is awesome!  Every table has a screen which you can order from, it tells you how many you have order, you can call the waiter on it, etc.  That machine on top despenses a prize or plays a movie after 15, 20, 25 plates.  There is a slot at the end of the table that you put your empyt plates in and it counts them.  It is the craziest thing ever.

If you order something from the menu then it comes sliding to you and stops right in front of your table.  Otherwise, you can grab whatever you want from the revolving bar.

Family selfie!

Game time!

Honestly the game was not to exciting for the first 38 minutes.  Baylor lead for the most part the entire game by a few points.

The final two minutes it became a great game that ended up in double over time!

Bears for the WIN!

Love my little bears!

Wednesday was Valentine's Day!!

Of course, we did our traditional breakfast of cinnamon rolls and red fruit.

Sleepy heads

Love that they deliever hot and fresh cinnamon rolls in a heart shape, makes me morning so easy!

Kendall's cookie- the girls loves her some coffee!

Taylor's cookie- she loves pickles and pickle juice!

No Valentine's day theme shirts this year (insert mom sad face) but we are sporting red and pink!

Ryan showed up with flowers for his girls!

Our house smelled amazing!

Our friends, the Dawson's, invited us to their house for dinner with the Ausley's and the Quall's.  The food was amazing!

My office chandelier came in and got hung!  I love it!

Just another typical Friday night

Saturday we had a 40th birthday party to go to!  One picture I took all evening, shocking I know!

Early Monday morning I got a visit from K in my bed saying she didn't feel good.  The flu has been going around like a good rumor so I told her just to get in bed with me.  Tested negative for strep and flu so they said just a virus.

This girl N E V E R naps but slept for almost three hours on the couch!

While she slept I was a disinfecting fool including my face!

When Ryan is out of town the girls take turns sleeping with me and I love it!

Our new recliners finally arrived and I love them!
