Wrapping up April

We ordered Taylor a new bed to match her new decor.  It came and we were both to impatient to wait for Ryan so we put it together ourselves.  Plus moved her old bed downstairs to the guest bedroom.

Been spending lots of time in the pool & hot tub

Got out of the house and grab Chick-fil-A and had a picnic in the parking lot.

Homeschooling is going swell.

Kendall has been doing a fantastic job of keeping up with her work and trying to get most of it done the first couple of days so she doesn't have to worry about it the rest of the week.

Taylor was on the "Eagle News" one morning.

Since we can't go to the movies I brough the movies to us!

Trolls!

At this point all of our nails are looking pretty rough so I became the nail lady! 

Sundays we have been grilling and then watching the Micheal Jordan special "Last Dance" as a family.  This Sunday we were craving ice cream so took a trip to Bruster's!  It was yummy!

I asked her to bring all her cups from her room and this is what she comes down looking like!

Another trip to Home Depot, I am redoing the pots by the pool.

I must say my green thumb is getting better, all my flowers will probably die now that I said that.

Grams gave these chicken floats to the girls last summer and we never brought them out but today was the day!  They had a great time and I loved watching them fight- their competivness comes out big time!

Another morning, another struggle to get started on her school.

April seemed like the longest month ever and not a bunch going on.

Everyone got up, actually dressed in real clothes, I made breakfast, and we had church on the back porch.

Later that afternoon the Buchanan's invited us to join them on the lake for some sun and fun.

Not our normal Easter but ended up being a great one.

New Normal?

This is March 25 through April 11 since everything is closed, you can't go anywhere or do anything it sometimes feels like Groundhogs Day.  But we are trying to make the most of it- going on lots of walks, working out, online school, cleaning out everything in the house, doing some gardening, lots of cooking and having family dinners, swimming and just trying to keep some what busy.

Someone (or dog) was really happy we were home!

Baking 101

Tied a new recipe, these are called Hoho's.

They smelled amazing, they tasted just ok.

Taylor had the new normal drive by birthday party for Sophie today!  Kendall and Taylor decorated the golf cart and Taylor made a special poster with pictures of them for her.

They were so stinking excited and happy to see each other and catch up for a bit in person.

We got a ton of new plants and flowers for the backyard, while we were taking out the old plants/flowers the girls found worms and were very concerned about them getting hurt or not having a home so they "saved" them until they could go back "home" safely.

Drive by birthday party for Mavi!

One of my favorite things about this whole quantine thing is the time that I am getting to spend one on one and with both of the girls.  

The both have really been missing their friends so they printed out a picture of them wrote a note on the back, made some homemade chocolate chip cookies, and put in a cute bag and we dropped off on their porch. 

Daily walk

The girls and I took have gone through every drawer, closet, and cabinet upstairs over the last week or two.  Made a huge drop off at Goodwill today!

So thankful for this home gym during this time, Taylor has been doing SAQ workouts with her club twice a week on ZOOM.

I just can't with the rotten dog who needs a hair!

Social distancing?

They don't even have personal space!

Date night- pick up Torchy's Tacos, grab a Truly from the garage freezer and sit in the car and pretend you are out.

So far all their school has not been "graded or mandatory" until today and someone got alittle overwhelmed with it all and had a mini meltdown for a mintue.

And school apparently only lasts until the UV is good and then it is over...

Kendall has been a driving fool during all of this, I love it becasue there is not much traffic on the roads for her to practice.

We went over to the Ausley's for dinner and Jade had ordered these ear wax candles, so of course we had to try them out.

This is Taylor and Brayden doing them, they took longer than what I expected but what came out of them was absolutely disguesting!
