BVIs- Day 5

There was a bad storm during the night and I didn't sleep well at all.  I was up way before everyone else so I walked around the Yacht club, it was so pretty and unique.

Beautiful flowers everywhere

I grabbed a coffee from the coffee shop and hung out on the beach till everyone else was up.

After breakfast we all walked around and did alittle shopping in their cute boutiques.  Then we loaded up and sailed to Leverick Bay (Virgin Gorda).
Learning all the things about sailing a 50 foot Cat, it is interesting, complex, and very techy!

two peas in a pod

Couldn't hang on the way there, took the best nap

When we got there we got off, some people got massages and others just hung at the bar on the beach.

Chef Joe prepared another delicious lunch for us.

Then we sailed to The Baths, took the dingy in and explored.

The Baths is a collection of massive granite boulders as large as 40 foot in diameter, with with white sand beaches and secret rock pools.  Ships used to stop here and make all the slaves get off and bathe so they would be clean before hitting the US and being sold.

They were huge and had some really tight spots to go through.

Captain Tom

I had to climb up

Then we sailed to the other side of Cooper Island to anchor for the night.
We took in the view from the top of the boat.
