Graduation Day!

Seems like this was just yesterday 

and today we are here.

We celebrated her accomplishment at home

I might have gone a bit overboard on the amount of pictures I printed out but once I started looking through I couldn't pick.

She had to be at school at 5 and they took advantage of the waiting time by taking pictures sense it was going to be late and dark once the ceremony was over.

ALL the Senior Events

Once a lap baby always a lap baby! 

Senior Parade- we met at The Logeman's to get the truck all decorated, speaker and girls loaded

 

Amy Beauchamp and I drove them and they had the best time singing and dancing their way through the neighborhood.

Sunday we hosted Senior breakfast- Taylor naturally had this whole vision of what she wanted, she did most of the shopping and planning, and it turned out beautiful! 

She gave the girls their grad present, a note, and a blue cord to wear at graduation representing their friend group.

Sophie painted a banner and she did an amazing job!

Wednesday was Senior Walk at River Ridge, so crazy being back in the halls again where I taught and they went to school.

Thursday she had to be at school at 6AM for Senior Sunrise, senior breakfast, class pic, and graduation practice.

Mother's Day- Senior Skip Day

Woke up from my short "4 hour" nap to this nice surprise on the counter for Mother's Day.

I mean who wouldn't want to spend Mother's Day with 28 of their besties! 🤣

 

The rest of the day was spent cooking, cleaning up, trying to keep up with all the activity and where abouts of the kids.

They spent the day playing pickleball, swimming, playing volleyball, swimming, singing, dancing, sitting around the firepit, hanging out, and just having a good time.

Kendall came out to see me and hang out for just a bit.

After another short nap, we got up, got everyone packed up and cleaned up and headed home!

It was a great prom & senior skip day and so grateful that I get a front row seat to it all.

All the girls went to Gralyn's to get ready and for photos

Sophie gave all the girls robes for grad gifts so naturally they all had to wear them and match.

The guys and parents all came over for pictures.  They hired a professional (the same one that did Taylor's senior pictures) to come out and get some really good.

The bus ended up being some old country singers tour bus and was quite unique 🤣

With the kids off to dinner, we headed to the prom house to decorate, unload all the food, bags, etc

They sang, danced, played games, hung out and somehow ended the evening with some "couples" yoga that was hilarious!
