Napa Day 1 & 2

Managing Partner Trip this year was to Napa!

The first night we had a welcome reception & dinner on the rooftop patio.

 The view was pretty fantastic

It was a really nice outside, not too cold, there were fire pits all over

They had a goodie bag waiting for us in the room when we returned.

Friday, Ryan had to get up early for a meeting while I got to sleep in, do some work, and drink coffee in bed!  Then we headed out for fun, exploring, and WINE!!!

Our hotel was right in the middle of downtown Napa, it is such a cute little town.

The is a map of the entire valley showing the different regions/parts was a really cool visual.

Our first stop was Silver Oak

We got to go a tour and since it was harvest season you could literally see them putting cleaning, destemming, and putting the grapes right into the barrels.

Then we sat for lunch

The food was delicious and the wasn't so bad either!

Really neat to see some of the vines still have fruit on them and then you could look over in the next vineyard and there would be people harvesting them.

Our next stop was Clif Lede Winery

This winery was much smaller, had a really hip laid back vibe, and modern art all over the place.

Then it was back to the hotel for a little rest and change of clothes.  Robbie and Celise had come in to visit some friends of theirs that live in the area so we meet them for dinner.  I can't remember the name of the restaurant but we sat at this really long table and there was no utensils or napkins anywhere.  I went to pull myself up and found all the things!  This was awesome, it didn't take up space on the table plus it had multiple of each utensil.

Everything was served family style and cooked on an open fire.

We walked a couple of blocks and grabbed a drink before calling it a night.
