Taylor has a tournament in Philadelphia and we were excited to go up a day early to play tourists!
Callie, Taylor, and Merrill
Ashley, Alicia, and I
We took a really early morning flight!
WELCOME to Philly!
After we all got checked in our first stop was the Liberty Bell
The line to get in was long and we had a list of things we wanted to see so we just looked in from the side viewing window. Which honestly was fine, the girls weren't totally into into but you can't not come to Phildelphia and not see it.
We walked over to Independence Hall and had a crash course in history (where the Declaration of Independence was drafted and signed) and snapped a pic.
Callie, Taylor, Merrill, and Devyn
The weather was really nice when the sun was out.
We stopped in a this really cute boutique
Walked down Elfreth Alley which is the oldest residential street in America!
People still live in them and the cobblestone street is really cool
Next stop was the Betsy Ross House.
It was already closed when we got there but we checked it out from the outside.
Group pic!
We made our way to Chinatown
Tried some bubble tea, no one was a big fan of.
And called it a day, it was started to get cold and windy and had walked a ton.
Love our volleyball adventures!
