Hawaii- Day 2

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

The morning walk to breakfast...

After breakfast we walked around the garden that they have on property.

They had all kinds of tropical plants and fruits!

No one could pinch us!

The girls were off to the pool

It is so calm and peaceful there

That afternoon we went to explore!

First stop was to see the SEA TURTLES!

This guy was just chilling on the beach taking a nap.
They are much larger than I expected.

The water is pretty shallow right in the cove so you can wade out and see them swimming all around.

Family pic!

Next we hopped on the boat to head to Captain Cook to snorkel.

Taking it all in

Taylor's ready!

Taylor & Gralyn

The water was crystal clear

Group pic

While we were snorkeling we saw a group of dolphins really close so we headed that way.
They were so fun to watch jumping and swimming all over the place.

We asked about seeing any Humpback Whales, he said there was one mom and baby in the area so we took off trying to find them.

Not to long after, we spotted this!

The turquoise/white thing in the water is the baby!

She was GIGANTIC!
Seriously, I can't believe how huge they are.
Right as we were leaving she jump all the way out of the water!
Ryan screamed "holy shit look at that"  most of us only caught a short glimpse of it but he said it was one of the coolest things he had ever seen!

All around the property they have "comfort stations"-
basically little building that are stocked with drinks and snacks!
The walls are covered in Polaroid pictures!

Walking to dinner

love that we keep getting family pictures!

This is the ONE and ONLY group pic we got the entire trip!

Bowling time!
Everyone bowls barefoot!

Winner, winner chicken dinner!!

Sea turtles, dolphins, snorkeling, whales, laying out, swimming, hanging with the family and great friends, eating yummy food on this beautiful island a day can't get much better!
