Poor Mars

Monday morning the girls and I noticed that Marley was acting really strange.  She wouldn't sit down only lay and just wasn't her normal self.  I called our vet to try and get her in but they were full and after describing what was going on they thought maybe it was her glands that needed to be released and said to try the groomer.  Well, the groomer was booked so I called around and found another vet that could get her in.  She was not happy to be there, she stood at the door and scratched to be let out while we were waiting for the vet.

After an exam, she was running a fever and they found a big mass on the top of her tail that was super senstive (she wouldn't let anyone touch it).  They gave me 10 days of antibotics and showed it to me.  They said it could be a few different things but to watch it and they would see us in 10 days.

You could tell that she didn't feel good.  A few days later the mass ruptured and had lots of blood and fuss coming out.  A phone call later and Kendall and I acting like a vet we got her bandaged up so it wouldn't leaked on anything.

She was super cuddly and sweet.  We kept an eye on it and her for the rest of the week.

Thursday Ryan and I stayed downtown at Hotel Zaza for the night.  He had been speaking at his companys sells meeting during the day and that evening was their farewell party.

We grab dinner and drinks at The Thompson Hotel before, it was yummy!

The Spazmatics played (one of my favorites).  We slept in the next morning, grabbed a coffee, and he had to head to the office and me home but it was a really fun night!

Sunday we took the boat out for a bit and Marley got to go on her first (and last) ride.

Taylor surfed for a bit and we made sureall is working before summer hits.
