Belize Day 4

We were up bright and early to go lobster diving!

So, none of us had done this before and we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into.  Our guide found a spot, we got our snorkeling gear on and in we went.  So, lobster don't just go walking across the ocean floor like I thought.  Well they do but just at night.  During the day they hang out in coral, like way down deep in the coral.  You swim around and look for their tentacles to spot one, then you have to use this crazy arrow thing to grab them, they are fast.  It is no easy task!  But our guide was an amazing diver.

We (and I mean him) found 2.

I now know why lobster aren't cheap.

Then he found one more and he was big one!

Next up was fishing.  This is how our guide decided if we had found a good spot or not.  He would drive around the ocean, stop the boat, put his goggles on and lean over the boat.  Then he would nope not good and we would take off.  It was insane!

He finally decided that this was a good spot.

I honestly wasn't to excited about fishing but had a really good time plus I was getting lots of bites.

Taking in the view!

When we were cruising around our guide told us about a guy who built a house in the ocean.  Apparently, it is not easy to get a fishing license in Belize and he is one of the few that has one.  He is very protective over his conch and lobster.

The guys fished for Barracuda's!  They are really really mean looking up close!

Such a great day with this guy!

This view never gets old, so incredible!

It was lunch time when we got back so we hopped on the golf cart and drove to The Trailer Park.  It looked so much like some of the ones here in Austin.

They had a bar, an ice cream one, and a few different places to get food.

On the way back Celise did some shopping at the store on the side of the road.

We chilled in the pool for a bit

Our last night here

Robbie, Celise, me, and Ryan

The sunset was breathtaking!

Loaded up and ready to head to dinner.

Found this place and decided to give it a try

It is ended up being right on the water and magical!

The food was yummy!

We celebrated my birthday!
