Another summer week!!!

Monday it we were up and out of the door early for some volunteering at the VA Hospital for NCL.

Then we hit the road and they hit the hay!

We got to go meet Charlie Brown, he is so cute and SO hyper!!!

Nanaw was in the kitchen making us some yummy food!

The girls had a blast driving the Polaris all around their property.

Visits with Nanaw and Popeye are always great, she is such an incredible woman and I learn so much from her.

On our way back in town we stop at Brayden's.  He had been out of town for two weeks for baseball.
They were super excited to see each other!

Wednesday, the ladies and I had dinner to celebrate all the July birthdays.

Water aerobics anyone?  Yup, we did it and I didn't drown!

Taylor went on the lake with some friends and they master triple wake surfing!

Another day, another sleepover, another big friend breakfast!
I actually wouldn't try this for anything.  I love these girls.  They are amazing and keep me entertained ALL the time!

Saturday, Kendall went on the lake with Brayden and his family and they got in on the double wake surfing!

Summer Fun!

Tuesday we were out running errands and the girls requested a stop at a "thrift store".  So we pulled into Goodwill!  They had a good time looking around at all the treasures that people donate but really enjoyed l trying out some of the unique clothing items!

These girls can SLEEP!
It is summer time so I am not "making" them going to bed at a certain time, or taking their phones at night, and most of the time we have an extra or two spending the night so who know what time they are going to bed.

Perfect example- bodies all over the place, no pillows, phone chargers coming out from all directions, blankets galore, empty milk containers, and goodness knows what else is strung about.

The girly pops came over on Thursday

Love these girls...

even if they are C R A Z Y!!!!

I love just sitting back and listening to their stories, hear them chat, sing, dance, give each other a hard time, cheer each other on, and all the other ridiculous things that come out of their months!

A while back Ryan and I purchased a chocolate/wine tasting at a Gala we attended.  I finally organized it all, invited all my peeps, and we were off!

All the chocolate is made in house and shipped all over the world!

Look how pretty and detailed each chocolate is!!!

Each chocolate was paired with a chocolate, they were amazing!

We needed some food to soak up all that wine we headed to Perry's in the Domain.
Such a great evening, my checks and stomach hurt so bad from laughing so much!

Gene, Ryan, Jeana, me, Susan, Jade, Kristina, John, and Kevin

Friday was Ryan's annual company boat day!

Love this guy and how much he loves and appreciates his employees.
He has the biggest heart!

Saturday, Taylor convinced Ryan and I to take the girls and her to dinner.
Basically, they wanted to get dressed up and take pictures and just needed an excuse.
I almost didn't recognized them without ponytails, oversized t-shirts, lulu shorts and tennis shoes on.

We also got talked into making a stop at Menchie's!

Back to the grind!

This girl loves to bake and since laundry, unpacking, and catching up on life were the only things on the agenda for the day we went to the store and she got busy!

This was a layer of chocolate chip cookie dough, then a layer of double stuff oreos, and topped with brownies!  They were amazing!

Friday we meet Carly and her boys for lunch, it had been way to long.

Saturday shenanigans with the girly pops!

Sunday, I took Brooklyn, Brook, and Kendall to SoulCycle downtown.

We had lunch at Flower Child and these girls are all about the selfies!

When we got home we were greeted by these girls.

They wanted to set up a tent in the backyard and sleep in it.  Ryan and I told them no way, it is so stinking hot they would die.  So their next idea was get Sophie's blow up pool and sleep in it.  Off they went and were busy for the next hour getting it, blowing it up, and setting everything up including chargers for each person!

I am not sure how many actually ended up sleeping here all night long but they all started here.

Wrapping up Costa Rica!

Our last full day Ryan, Taylor, Merchant, and Brayden got up super early and went deep sea fishing.
Taylor has never been fishing at all so this was quite the experience.

She got SOMETHING!

She said she had to reel in for almost 10 minutes

and I would say it was worth it.
Taylor and her swordfish!

They didn't keep it since we were not going to have it mounted.
So back home he went.

She also caught a margarita fish

Brayden caught a Mahi Mahi

Fishing is exhausting

Meanwhile, Ann, Ainsley, Kendall and I went into Jaco to do some exploring.

We walked up and down the main street and did some shopping.

It was HOT so we went hung out in the pool and waited for the fishing group to get back..

Had some snacks and drinks while listening to all the stories.

That afternoon we had surf lessons!!!!

They taught us all the basic on land and then it was off to the water.

There was alot of this for a while

But the instructors were so patient and kind to everyone, they just keep rotating us through to and would walk you through the whole process.

SUCCESS!!!

It is not as easy as it looks, the waves are so powerful and take you out!

It was so much fun (and exhausting).

2 hours and pretty sure we were all wiped but for sure one of my favorite things we did.

The view on the walk to dinner.

One of the restaurants in the mariana had taken our fish and cooked it for us.
First up was amazing fish sticks, not kidding.  They were delicious.

Then we had grilled and blacken Mahi Mahi that was incredible!

This was in the hallway by the elevators at the resort and I love it!

We were all sad to be leaving including this guy who was waiting for us by our car!

We had about an hour and half drive to the airport.

We had an unexpected delay in Fort Lauderdale so we caught an uber to grab some dinnner.
There happened to be a Cold Stone in the same parking lot so since it was still technically vacation...

Somehow these lucky ducks got the whole row to themselves and slept the entire way back.

Costa Rica you were beautiful, the people were great, and it was trip to remember for sure!

Here are the video clips from the trip-
