Alittle of this and alittle bit of that

Morning school selfie

Last and final volleyball practice

H A I R D A Y!!!!

Ryan woke up and his truck would not start, he parked weird in the driveway so he had to let his truck roll down the driveway in order to get my car out.  When he did it it took up three fourths of the street.  I was getting calls and neighbors stopping by checking to make sure everything was alright.  There was nothing we could but wait till they came to fix it because his truck is so heavy and big.

Regional Time!!!

Game time- we played some really good teams, the girls played well.

Added bonus of playing in Houston is that we got some extra special visitors
Aunt Carina and Izzy!

13 TORO
Love these girls

Mommas!

We had to leave Saturday after the games to head to Dallas on Sunday for Casey's funeral.

But first one last team dinner

This drink had a rose Popsicle in it- it was amazing!

On the way home we stop to watch Brayden's baseball game

Sunday we got all ready

It was a hard day for everyone but the services was beautiful

Grams came home with us!

We flew there and back so it was easier for Sonny who was still really early in his recovery.

Easter

Easter Sunday!

Saturday night when Kendall was going to bed she said "we are hunting eggs in the morning right?".
I honestly hadn't planned to hide eggs but after that I knew it had to happen so I said "of course".
"Good, I  win every year" was her response.

These goof balls were ready to hunt eggs.

After Kendall won the egg hunt we all got ready for church.

As we were walking out for church we got a call from David that Casey was not doing well and it was time for his parents to come.  Ryan and I dropped the girls off at the Buchanan's (we had plans to have brunch with them after church) and went to his parents house.
We had to break the news to them which was not easy.  I helped his mom pack while Ryan went home to pack.  Sonny was not able to make the trip since he had just got out of the hospital from having heart surgery.  They got on the road to Dallas.

The girls went with the Buchanan's to lunch.

After that I meet them at the lake for a bit.

When they got to Dallas, things were not good for Casey so I quickly went to be with Sonny while they broke the news to him that they were going to take her off the machines.  I stayed with him the rest of the day until he was ready for bed.

It was an extremely hard for everyone but we all know that she is finally pain free and it a better place.

Life is better with friends

Taylor and I have a serious pickle addiction!
Not just the actual pickles but also the juice.
Ryan went to the store and picked up a jar of pickles for us and apparently he knew we needed to invest in a larger jar!!

Taylor loves to point out that she is taller than Kendall!

Friday we went to The Buchanan's for their annual crawfish boil.
Gage, Taylor, Ella, Sebastian, and Jack

Ryan has to get in the basketball game with all the guys

Jello shots from Brian, of course!

Great evening as always!

We spent Saturday at the Ausley's

The kids all played sand volleyball

We brought over 80 confetti eggs, I love watching people try to sneak up on others, and just run around like crazies cracking them on each other.  It brings so much joy and happiness to everyone.

Divide and Conquer!

Friday, Ryan and Taylor took off to Dallas

I stayed back with Kendall.
She had an NCL meeting Friday night.
I picked these goof balls up and grabbed some dinner for them.  Then they decided that they wanted to walk thur the drive thur at Whataburger.

Bright and early Saturday morning Taylor and her team hit the courts.

I might have been having some FOMO during a really close game.
Ryan facetimed me so I could watch the last couple of points.
They WON that game!

Meanwhile, I was with Kendall and her school cheer team at their district show off.
Their coach had to take a leave of absence so I have been filling in the last three weeks helping them practice and get ready.  It was C R A Z Y, I have not cheered since high school nor had 50 REALLY loud, chatty, energetic girls in one room trying to get them to listen and do the same thing at the same time!  But, I am so proud of them!  They did an amazing job at the showoff!

I left the show off and drove straight to Dallas, Ryan and I met in the valet kissed hello and good bye in about 30 seconds.

Taylor and I had dinner and hung out with her team.

And Ryan hosted a sleepover with 8 girls!!!

Sunday we were back on the courts

We got to catch one of Morgan's game

It didn't go so well for our girls but they played their heart out and never gave up.

These two are such a trip together.

Sunday night their coaches daughter was in a play off game so we went to cheer them on.

I have meet some amazing moms this seasons.

Monday, we had room service and packed up before heading back for MORE games.

How we all felt after 3 FULL days of volleyball!
